i will soon have a 1 year archive of my blog! yes. ONE YEAR

today been a great day

woke up at 8.30
rather late. intended to go stadium for a jog. but yeah

went online at 9
clement, caroline and jacinth were online

left at 1030
went tamp lib to look for some books

left at 1130
went to tamp mrt station to meet caroline
took train down to wisma atria
went to flash and splash for awhile
went to coffee club express on the 3rd level
bought mocha freeze. kinda nice
sat down in the cage thing to read e book i borrowed
interesting book
very imaginative
and mind captivating
met jeremy and sarah

left at 1600
took 36 to parkway
went to play pool
good table, good cues, good balls
met mark, ridzuan and nabila

left at 1930
took 31 to tampines
some coffeeshop near st hilda's
bumped into andrew tham, derek tung and desmond
they were having dinner. yup. actually juz finished dinner
sat down and waited for sevverl
yah. so he came. so did clarence chang and victor
so it was like a mini st hilda's gathering
derek andrew and desmond left shortly after they arrived
we had dinner
its been like many many months since i last met sevverl before he left for UK. i think he is super duper lucky. he is using a British passport now. he is gonna drop his spore citizenship. just completed his Pre A levels so gonna do his A levels when he gets back in september
have not met clarence in a long time. not exactly tat long coz im used to bump into him at the bus stop, coz we stay in the same estate
victor. have not seen him for very very very long
we had lots of fun recollecting the old good times
talking abt matthew, jesher, brandon, june, yalah. everybody.
and also abt lee kim seng, philip lee etc.
met catherine who is like so different. haha. actually the same. juz that she no longer displays that sleepy look
it was great lah.
somehow, e guys in my batch are very bonded and are closely knit. Due to the fact that they have the common interest of soccer, they meet up constantly to play at the street soccer court opposite st hilda's. a pity that i didnt pursue in developing soccer skills and techniques. i think its fun to play, just that i didnt had the willpower to continue playing coz i just thought i was lousy, and time did not permit me too. sortof regret it. i mean, if i had a chance, i wld like to be pro in some kinda sport. but im a naturally slow person. i dont grasp stuff fast, but once i understand i really do. yup.
oh well. its life
and yeah, if only there was an institution of higher learning affliated to st hildas schools, im sure all of us wld be schoolmates once more. its interesting, coz u realise the ppl u can relate most OR feel most comfortable with is those friends that you develop over the years, esp in sec sch. theres tis feeling. tis invinsibale linkage that enables us to understand and "tolerate" each other. maybe its because we do not see each other everyday. but yeah.
while on 36, i was talking to caroline abt cca council and that we shld have a gahtering. msg jermaine abt it. we were trying to remember who was in the council. its been only a few years, but yeah, it seems so difficult to remember.
we were like talking abt how our fellow school mates have changed. appearance wise and stuff.
nearby, within the same coffeeshop, was another group of ex st hildans. netballers i guess. gathering perhaps
anyway. saw alicia, shiyi, calvin ng walking
yeah. so thats my 1st day of post common test holiday
it rawks.

great
im so happy
im feeling so JOYFUL
im so happy that i have proven myself to be right
Left Hand Side = 1 hour before math paper...
"im so gonna screw today's paper. there seems to be sooo many things that i have left out although i revised. all because geog and econs were cramped into one day, i devoted all my energy and time into ensuring that i read up and know what was going on. as a result, i neglected my math. initially, i had the mentality that yeap.. geog econs on monday. math on tuesday afternoon, ive got like 20 hours to mug for math.. YEA RIGHT. spent more than half of that 20 hours zzzzing away. so it was rather depressing. especially when there were other jc ppl who didnt had paper today mugging next to me in tamp regional library. and yeah. one of them was holding up her tys. oh well.. just gotta do whats there to do"

Right Hand Side = 1 hour after math paper...
Oh shit. oh darn. oh shit. oh darn. i did total rubbish. i mean the outcome is like expected lah. since when is ridza a pro in math.. since primary school. in st hilda's primary. was HANDPICKED by mrs s lee to attend mr andrew soong's extra math enrichment lessons for those who have the potential to go beyond A for math every monday afternoon, rows 9-10 at the canteen. yeah. had dedicated math teacher. in sec 1, experienced teacher but she was easily bullied. as a result, my math declined.. sec 2. ms chin and ms chai. new teachers.. amazingly, i was posted to a double math class(coz perhaps the whole level did badly or what not) mrs sui took e mr philip lee wee took a. mrs sui was preg. mr PHILIP was teaching add math for the 1sstttt time. then he follow up for e math as well in sec 4. add math was my worse performing subject for Os. but im happy that all my grades are not influenced by the help of tutors.. my dad dont believe in them.. haha
yeah. so math was bad. the paper was slightly above TYS standard. could have been more manageable if i had had spent more time understanding what i was mugging. you know, it seems to be so hard to ensure that what you read really goes into your brain. so u can spent 2 hours sitting down practicing, but u dont understand antyhing

shall blog again tonight
too tired after posting e photos

anyway
the conclusion is
LHS=RHS
since p1 is true, pk is true, pk+1 is also through
ah shudup

been reading stuff on taxes
my cpu making weird noise as usual
today been a great day
woke up at930. and i seriously consider 930 as LATE. oh darn.
shall wake up at 7tmr.
yah. no one was at home.
left house at 11. took the bus to dhobby ghaut again
pretty boring.
upon reaching the junction before YMCA, it was a horrible sight, cause an accidnet involving a car and 2 motorcycles occured. i didnt witness it. but it was the direct aftermath. there was no blood, glass, splints what so ever but the motorists were like in the middle of a heated argument in the middle of the junction. one guy, whom i presume is one of the motorcylist appeared to be in a daze though he was conscious.
so there i was, occupying a lil corner at ymca macs cause i guess all the managers of mac donalds outlets in town were occupying my fav spot for some kinda meeting. yah. perhaps to discuss strategies to introduce more varieties to their menu. like instead of coke sundae float. it will become sundae coke float or smtg. meaning that the coke will be in the sundae. yah. as usual. reading is such a difficult chore. so my mind sortof wandered off at times.
took 111 to orchard mrt. super early lah.
all of them(as if there were many) were late
went to seoul gdn at ngee ann city
was cool. miss e food
was bloated
they could see the shape
the omelette mixed with rice was good.
the prawns were good too.. mr udang! haha
it was definitely value for money due to the fact that we hogged the table from 3 to 6plus. arghh. gonna be a long time before i go back there but i feel like goin back there tmr
then went to heeren coz athena needed to return a digital video camera
we took train and then bus to night safari
we were super excited
haha. it was fun lah
like asking the staff.. "can u tell us the fastest way to get lost?" obviously, we didnt get lost lah.
thanks for adeline's voucher. it was indeed value for money
but it was kinda dissapointing cause there was a lack of variety of animals. yup
but kinda cool to see them at night..
and BABIRUSA. wad a stooopid name. direct translation is deer-pig. so much abt cross breeding..
the suspension bridge was not a lil bit suspense at all. YAWN. haha.
everything was artificial. it seemed so fake. but it is indeed well curated lah. impressed. well. it was dark anyway. neednt matter
then. yah. most memorable moments
1)tiger stop. i cldnt see the tiger at all. there were many ppl and i suddenly told veron and jeff and athena and ade. "perhaps we wont be able to see anything cause this is night safari and animals sleep at night". i looked right, after saying this and saw a woman laughing over my spastic and not-funny-at-all statement
2)at the golden cat stop. we saw 2 cats getting horny and all. almost wanted to do it. but then those lil kids were damn noisy. and they banged themselves into the glass. and ta da, the cats cancelled their plans. the worst thing was that, an angmoh lady, whom i presume is a tourist, told a lady who i presume is the mother of the child that her daughter shouldnt have done that. the mother blatantly replied.. "its nothing wrong what? shes only a kid. now im going off and giving you the full benefit of seeing the cats" bloody shiet. what kinda example is the mother showing.
3)the flying squirrel enclosure. indeed they FLY. super thrilling but scary. and jeff was like offering his empty mango freeze cup to the squirrel and it stared at us like crazy
4)they have fishes in night safari. the biggest fish in the tank full of "ordinary fishes" was super friendly. LOL.

on my way back on the train, i bumped into MATTHEW LEE YU WEI. oh well, he looks the same. except the hair. and with the same style of talking. but indeed has mature a bit in his mentality. he was speaking kinda loudly though.

uploaded some photos into this page. anyhow press and ta-da. had i known the process was soo easy, i wld have done it long ago. yup. thats all for now! waiting for ade to upload the photos so i can post it here

SLEEPONOMICS
Module 16, Level 89

Sleeping and General Rest Level
&
Sleeping Policy

Introduction
there are 2 major theories of sleeping
The Quantity Theory of Sleeping
The Ridzan monetary theory - the Inverse Preference Theory
Both attempt to explain the effect of changes of sleeping hours on the General Rest Level (GRL)

Quantity Theory of Sleeping
The quantity theory attempts to explain that changes in the general rest level of sleep are directly related to the changes in the quantity of sleep put in.
a) MOE's version
In its simplest form the theory merely states that the general level of sleep will depend on the amount of time at hand of a student.
Symbolically,
T = kS
where T = the amount of time
S = the general rest level
&k = constant factor

An increase in T will directly cause a proportionate increase in S. If T doubles,(k being constant), P also constant

Weaknesses of MOE's version
1. Does not take into account other commitments in a student's(particularly jc student) diary. Ie. relationship with friends and family. PLUS tutorials and catching up of school work.
2. Time is a fixed factor, meaning that everyone (not only students) only have 24 hours at their hands.
3. It is an underestimation of current trend in time usage because the leakages(slack, stone, rot) are not considered.

b) Stone's version
The crude theory above fails to see that
1) the stoner can change into a nerd
2) over a given period, the same amount of time may be used many times to do alot of things. just like hermione granger in harry potter, stoners may equip themselves with the ability to do multi task although they appear to be heavy stoners. although the above is not scientifically proven, there are enough evidence to show that it might be plausible

Professor Expert Stoner expressed the theory in a more refined form
**********************************
****************************
******************************
************************************
****************
*************************
*****************************8
*****************************
Unfortunately, only stoners have access to it.
This is because, only stoners have the power to imagine and as such, they might claim that they understand the above

As it stands, the Stoner equation is self evidently true - it is a statement of fact. that is ** shows the total ********************* whilst ** shows the total *****************.

there is 1 simplifying assumption
1. it is assumed that the supply of stoners is determined by the ministry of stoning

Weaknesses of the Stoner's version
1) only stoners know.....

Ridzan Inverse Preference Theory of Sleep
His view of the role of sleep in the sleeponomy in his inverse preference theory. What is really new about his approach is that in his theory, the supply of time does not influence rest levels directly. Instead, it is the DEMAND FOR SLEEP and the SUPPLY OF SLEEP that determines the exhaustion rates which in turn influences rest level through demand for sleep.

DEAMND FOR SLEEP
Why is there a demand for sleep?
The answer is that sleep is 'inverse'. ie. it has opposite effects without loss or delay. Ridza called this desire to prefer rest in the form of sleep the inverse preference.
He outlines 3 main motives for wanting to sleep :
1)the tired because i stoned the whole day motive to sleep
2)the tired because i mugged the whole day motive to sleep
3)the tired because i went out the whole day motive to sleep

a) the stone the whole day motive
one dds sleep to pay up for one's normal day to day practice of stoning. One usually stones hourly or by the minute. how much sleep one demands for such daily transactions is likely to depend on the level of stoning expertise. so for the sleeponomic as a whole, we can expect the total demand for rest for stoning purposes to depend directly on sleep national level.
the stone motive for sleep is perfectly exhaustion inelastic. ie. it is not responsive to exhaustion rate changes. whether the exhaustion rate rises or falls, the amount of sleep a person, household, firm or country holds for stoning wil remain more or less unchanged assuming time and other variables remain constant.

b) the mugger who mugged the whole day motive
sleep is needed to meet one's unexpected requirements. One usually sleeps for a few more hours just in case something unexpected happens such as realising that she has yet to cover the effect of overestimation and underestimation of the government on the level of unemployment. The sleep demanded for mugging motive also depends on the level of mugging expertise. if he is a pro mugger, he will mug like crazy, as such, he will demand less sleep. there exist an inverse relationship between the level of mugging expertise and his demand for sleep. SImilarly, as in the case of stoning demand for sleep, the mugger demand for sleep is perfectly exhaustion inelastic because a mugger will never feel tired.

c) the went out whole day motive
the demand for sleep for going out the whole day motive refers to the sleep demanded which is essential so as to go out the whole day, or sometimes night.
this is particular seasonal and might occur on certain days of the week
eg. great singapore sale season will result in people demanding lesser sleep because of the time needed to
1) queue up before shop opens
2) shop
3) shop
4) shop
5) shop
.
.
.
n) queue up at cashier
n+1)pay at cashier
n+2)look for 5cents in wallet/purse
infinity)reach home
another good example is the clubbers
who do not sleep at night due to the fact that the bars/pubs/clubs are not open during the day

due to shortage of paper, the lesson shall continue after the school gardener(now known as the Logger) cuts down some trees and the canteen vendor(now known as the paper maker) processes the logs into environmentally friendly paper.

meanwhile, think of the limitations of the 3 approaches of demand for sleep.

it is confirmed. i am depressed...
i don't know. the sudden urge of recollecting my sec sch life. it seems to be more meaningful and interesting when compared to my dull routinal lifestyle that i experience now. i was just talking to andrew about friends. such a waste that i cannot develop further the friendship that has been built over the years that i spent in st hildas primary and secondary. i just feel lonely now. i mean. who are my friends. and who are my "friends"? those who knows me well, will well enough know that i place lots of importance on friends. sadly, in the cheerfulness of our youth, we fail to maintain and establish friendships based on mutual understanding. acquaintances are abundance. everywhere. oh well
im probably depressed over common test.
perhaps every jc student has to go through this. i have never gone through such a miserable moment in my life before. perhaps more terrible experiences await me.
studies. i am inundated by the thick stack of notes that i have to read, cover and digest before finally applying them for the common test. everybodys in misery now due to the upcoming common test. i don't know. theres this invinsible pressure that everyone is facing right now. well. almost everyone. when common test is actually no big deal.
i face the greatest pressure. having seen the performance in geography detoriating, when it supposedly is my forte. the stress is overwhelming. i have forgiven myself for doing badly in class tests but im just worried that i might slide from an A to a near fail grade or something. My hunger for geography is no longer what it used to be. i have sort of lost interest in it. i feel discouraged with the absence of motivating teachers like ms sarah yew and ms karen teo. mr sahlan expects alot from me. but my sentiments are that he has been dissapointed with my peformance so far..
Sevverl is back in spore i think. he is doing the UK equivalent of the O levels so as to gain admission into uni or smtg like that. such lucky people are so fortunate to escape the misery that we, as singaporean jc students have to face. but they have their fair share of downsides too.
really... i have never felt this way before. like whats freaking wrong with my life. i never felt so awkward before. much worse than band problems. at least for band probs, u have ppl to share it with. but right now, i dont even know what kinda problem im facing to begin with.
did a quiz on quizilla. bipolar depression. which means i have frequent moodswings. yup. a check with other jc peers showed that they too are suffering from bipolar.
sometimes happy.. high... sometimes down... sad..
if there are 3 things i miss right now..
they are
1) my friends and teachers and everything else in sec sch. i wish i was still a lil kid. everything seems to be moving too quickly for me. friends in sec sch are always the best. i hope they have not forgotten me, or rather don't think that i have forgotten them.
2) ms karen teo. i really miss her. tutorials seem to be soo different without her. her sweet smile which is reserved for tutorials ONLY. her wonderful voice and perfect english which is such a blessing. her bright face which never fails to cheer anybody up. and most importantly, the wonderful facts that come out from an organ called the mouth
3) my bro. when r u coming back eh?

MY AMBITION : i am going to become a data entry personnel at exhibition and shows when i grow up.
today was the 2nd day of my 4 days stint at Singapore Expo, CommunicaAsia, BroadcastAsia and EnterpriseIT Exhibition organized by Singapore Exhibition Services.
i intended to wake up at 6.30. but went back to sleep until 745. i played ps2. got ready only at 8.30. so i was late. reached the bus stop at 915 to find that the traffic sucks and i missed my bus so i sprinted to the MRT and hopped on a train. reached hall 6 at 9.35. supposed to report at 945. yup. doors were closed. but apparently, almost all e other data entry staff were inside already. restocked all the plastic folders and stuff. doors opened at 10.00 but visitors were only allowed to enter the exhibition premises at 10.30. so all of them clogged up the registration area. i am sitting at the corner, just next to the entrance of the exhibition area. my workstation, number 19 is the last. i went off for lunch at 12. yucks. picked the wrong container. rice with brocolli. EEEE. wanted to get the fried rice with chicken! so, being hardworking me i went back inside at 1220, although my work was supposed to resume at 1230. so i took over the middle workstation, cause they needed to go for lunch. i had to cover up, coz its the nearest counter to the queue. work is basically like this
collect the forms
enter serial number
enter name as in NRIC
enter company
enter country
indicate Y and N
for main area of interest
gotta process the forms mentally fast
just by skimming through the ticks
and then print
and then slot in OVERSEAS visitor or LOCAL visitor
and then if they are of managerial post and above, give the show directory. otherwise smile and say thank you
:)
so i had to repeat this like a few hundred times
i migrated to another person's computer. until 2pm. the crowd was crazy man.
cause half of the people at my regisration counter weer like MIA.. left only 6. my section has 12 counters. the other part got 7 i think.
after which i went back to my own secluded corner
had to raise up my time everytime im free to grab the attention of the ppl in the queue. otherwise i can just wait falling asleep
yup. so this went on until 5plus
when 2 guys came up and asked me where is this particular spanish country. beats me. they were like asking me over 15 minutes.
haha. i gave up and just gave them the show directory
well, the database doesn have what they wanted what.

here is a general observation
it seems that all the staff of the following companies came down to view the exhibits
singtel
m1
starhub
ida

a relatively large proportion of singtel m1 starhub visitors were females and i was able to guess that they approach my counter due to their poise. always lots of make up. tied up hair. branded handbag (don't know whether gucci or fendi or what not), those kinda suits that makes them look as people of high importance. yup. at least they bother to say thank you
some visitors feel that we are obligated to act as robots and bootlick them. haha
the person next to me... he was asked by a pissed visitor to get the supervisor. so phoebe came and yup. phoebe got scolding or smtg like that. but phoebe's cool abt it. i think she's a nice person lah. anyway, yup shes my supervisor from SES. thought she was erm weird, during the briefing on saturday. but yup very nice person. character that is.
i guess the only way to calm ppl down is by smiling, saying hello, thank you, greeting them.
the only troublesome thing is that we gotta ask them "is this name here reflected in your ic?" or "is this your ic name?" "can i check with you the spelling of your company?" "which country do you want me to key in your company as?" "you forgot to fill this up" "can i have your namecard pls" "is it ok if i attach it together?"
and yayayaya
blah blah blah
and isit convincing enough why we shld all quit our studies and bcum data entry OPERATORS? obviously not. so ridza, 12 days to common test. you gotta mug like crazy for the last 10 days of ur hols. oppps. i got 6 days break after my last paper
muahaha
anyway today alot of vice presidents, and ceo, director, managing director, senior engineers, managers. yup. yalah. of lil divisions.

14th June
Row B, Seat 10
THE BEST BET
was a good show. recommended. even if you have very basic knowledge of mandarin plus dialects like me.
plus sides
-local movie. must support.
-funny. humorous. good for destressing
-typical singaporean storyline set in the heartlands. so its something different albeit similar to local channel 8 drama serials(that coincidentally richard low plays in too)
-nothing much to watch after catching azkaban and shrek2 last week
-recommended by carrie chong on movie bites
drawbacks
-the subtitles went off the screen too quickly
-betting. gambling. forbidden in Islam.
-doesn't show e actual scenario in spore. inaccurate ambassador.
-simple and predictable plot. oh well. its local, so most of us. being familiar will be able to sortof guess.
generally, movie was worth it. abt 2 hrs.
oh. i cant b bothered to do this thing in an outline sort as i had intended to coz im just too tired
im gonna sleep now
im working tmr
im mad!!
haha. a fren pulled me in. so i just tried getting the job
cause.. im supposed to be mugging, but it wont b that productive so do something else more productive. ie. working. earn money and i will be able to spend lots of money in flash and splash. bah..
quiksilver and stussy here i come....................................
reached YMCA macs at 12
i must have been out of my mind to take 65 all the way from my place.
the bus was almost empty, but the trip was unbearable. super long
oh well. cldnt b bothered to take e train what.

13th June
reached raffles place BK at 11
mugged with chinkee and jacinth

Thursday, June 10, 2004

i tossed and turned resting my head upon a pair of jeans. I hear familiar voices in the background. oh damn it. i cant write such descriptive personal accounts
alright, at home now. stayed over for band chalet yesterday. dissapointingly, not many ppl stayed. only 20plus close to 30. oh. it wont make a difference anyway.
went town with hak yest. FINALLY. yes. FINALLY agreed on a common consensus that we were gonna meet. wanted to watch e best bet but it was too late as i had to rush down for the bbq. so watched shrek 2 at 145. kiddy show. high value of entertainment, but plot wise, its nonsensical crap. pure nonsensical crap, if i cant emphasize it enough.
took a walk around. whereever we go, e sales ppl were all like staring at us as if we cant afford the stuff. but then again, its like as if we can afford all those stuff
whatever.
then reached tamp at abt 5. took 29. reached chalet at abt 6. then helped out with the preparations. didnt set up the fire though. there were 3 pits. 2 big ones and 1 temporary one which is located at the porch. yup. food was great. though last yr's was better due to the fact that there were more variety of food. even had fish last yr. and yah. canned drinks. think the rent of the chalet is cheaper than the expenditure on food last yr.
my section was nowhere to be found. the 3 tkss ppl didnt turn up, but they did the previous day. and lynnette is sick. with sore throat fever flu EVERYTHING. and fraemone went to church.
anyway, back to e food. e chicken was good. the fish fillet otah was good. the fishball was good though slightly burnt. e satay was terrific! e sausages. e marshmallow. e potato. e corn. whatever
then 9pm went ot watch the show. jian jie. will miss it tonight due to acjc concert. darn. tmr last episode
then 10pm continued slakcing ard.
11pm wanted go 7 11 but they were watching csi. so left at 12. with chris instead of the intended gang as they were engrossed in playing ps. wow. the walk was super long. followed 29 route. yup. changi village hotel is nice. saw those ppl at the shell station. scary... e cheers person overcharged us. luckily i was alert egh. :p and then yah. walk back via e main route. it was muddy. slippers all full of soil.
it was slightly shorter
as we approach the chalet, saw kenneth and eugene going out to cheers, and like us, they had no idea where its located at.
so.. i just slacked in e chalet until abt 2 plus
sleeping is infectious. i saw mark sleeping. so i cldnt resist the temptation of resting my eyes so i lay myself on the bed and ended up sleeping! HAHA no pillow!
:p
woke up at 6 plus. den went back to sleep until 8.30

7 june 2004
SEAT A11
to my left, one lil cheena boy who couldnt stop fidgeting. legs off the ground, in a comfortable position on the soft but smelly seat throughout.
to my right, a teenage couple who possessed similar designs of stussy bags.. like magnets, cant stop getting intimate and close up.

alright. went to catch harry potter ALONE. yup
spectacular yet dissapointing
perhaps the main reason why it appears to be not as good as sorcerer's stone and chamber of secrets is perhaps because :
1) different director. no longer chris columbus
2) overgrown hermione(shes hot.. wow), ron and harry p
3) dumbledore speaks too quickly and loudly. yup. unlike richard harris. they still look similar nonetheless.
4) harry loses conscious and regains it time and time again. well, its in the book, but the producers cld have been more creative in fading the screen away. cause its quite predictable that harry will end up in the hospital wing.
5) no peeves, the friendly ghost?
it was not bad afterall lah
ive grown to become a harry potter fan. but not a fanatic
so that was basically my monday

before that had spring cleaning.
it was great i guess
took everything outof the band room and cleaned and they scrubbed
and they took everything back in again
bet the floor of the band room is sparkling right now
lol. it was such a funny sight when they discovered that they poured it 11 1/2 cups of floor cleaning agent when it was supposed to be 1 1/2 only
i had to leave at abt 11 cause i had to rush down to my dad's office to buy specs from a subsidary company there.
took 23 alighted at civil defence walked all the way to geylang bahru swimming complex or isit kallang bahru? or isit kreta ayer? I DUNNO. yah. took the overheadbridge
damn bloody weird one lah. coz it temporary one. and it doestnt seem that strong. and its like super long. 3 different sections.
reached at like 12 on the dot
the man almost left the office. ok. bought the adidas frames. ok lah. quite nice. very nice indeed cause my dad paid for it. certainly not cheap although its staff price....

8th june 2004
woke up at 8.
met doranne at tanah merah mrt platform at 9.15
board e train to tanjong pagar international plaza for some job briefing.
man, the brochures are so ugly. haha
then at abt 11, went to macs at YMCA. studies
2plus went to wisma, ngee ann city, pac plaza walk ard
she bought a mango top. as usual.
1st time in zara. nvr been to zara before. not bad lah. the ladies clothes appears to be somewhat similar to those in mango.
but whats diff and is very stark is that zara got men's section. was ok. no need for such metrosexual stuff. just tshirts and jeans will do me fine.
then went to gelare at far east. yummy. cookies and cream. dor ordered waffle with choc overload. its so chocolatey.
left at abt 4. i had to go changi for band chalet
yup. took train back and then 29. i didnt really know where to stop and wheer exactly the chalet was located. so it was jsut walking blindly
as mazlinah said.. walk straight. so i just walked straight. and saw 3 familiar inseparable figures walking. and waving. yup. val kelly and serene. i was still wondering whre the chalet was when i saw eileen yixin and gang. and the laughed at me. LOL. coz i was like asking them where the chalet was and they just pointed aimlessly and walked off. HMPPH
the chalet's huge. considering that its a chalet. but its also called a bungalow. a run down one that is. well, at least the lights aircon and electric outlets are working
initially, i wasnt sure whether it was the band chalet cause i heard lots of voices, but none were familiar perhaps due to the fact that the voices were drowned by the movement of the mahjong tiles. and yup. cant see any figures around. heard loud noises coming from the tv set upstairs. yup. ps2
lynette was the sign of confirmation, as she was busy tidying up the kitchen with sazali. the freezer leaking or something
i took a walk round the chalet. or rather a tour.
4 bedrooms upstairs. 1 lounge on the 2nd level too. think 4 attached toilets.. to the bedrooms. duh.
downstairs. 1 bedroom. toilet.
one fully equipped kitchen but some appliances cant possibly be used due to the fact of the presence of muslims like yours truly
yah. after taking a tour. i just walked round and round. pretty much bored.
sat down next to the telephone and started flipping through the yellow pages
kinda coolh
u shld do it if you've got nothing else to do
then i helped mazlinah and hwa ee and michelle get ready dinner. it was already on the table but they were like figuring out how to heat up the food cause we are being extra cautious. dontwanna use the microwave.
then, e other yr 1 girls were like trying to set up a fire at the pit with the noble intention of heating up the food. lol
well, i helped the ppl in the kitchen make the almond jelly cum nata de coco cum longan cocktail as dessert. it was terrific. very nice
i left after dinner. and yup. was marvellous. considering its a chalet thing. fried rice, curry puffs, potato salad, vegetarian bee hoon, the desser, chilli sauce, tomato ketchup and mayo?
had to wait like 15 min for the damn bloody bus which follows a damn bloody long route
as andrew said, the houses ard the toh close area damn nice lah. opposite changi prison one. super super nice.
went home watch tv
blah

9 june 2004
woke up at close to 8 today
did some work. econs. went online at 10. chat with hakwei and stuff
and leaving soon to get ready.
need to bathe and go out
and yet to pack my bag for chalet stayover
hope it will be fun!!
bbq and farewell tonight
anywayz. acjc band concert tmr..
