Despite being busy carrying out our routinal daily activities, many weird occurences happen around us. Sometimes, it might not be entirely funny but its just queer and non-natural and foreign to our dictionary of boring lives that we lead.
I took SBS service number 10 today because i was lazy to walk to the MRT station. I thought i would be able to indulge in deep thinking without any externalities ie. noise disturbances albeit the fact that the bus was equipped with the tech-savvy satellite television onboard called TV Mobile maintained and operated by MediaCorp. However, to my horror, a group of malay adolescents (pure mats and minahs) started to walk up and down the aisle of the single decked bus. One of them was holding a portable mini hi-fi and it was emitting loud noises. If it was softer, it will be music. Initially it was jiwang, than the mood changed to heavy metal, then suddenly hiphop. no identity eh? by that time, i had my headphones on coz i cldnt stand it. and ahuh. the back of the bus was full of ahpeks and makciks and i guess they were as irritated. glad they alighted at lucky heights.
Another significant event was the man at mac donalds. apparently there was this man whom i presume is studying at ngee ann polytechnic part-time. He was accompanied by a few other course mates. It was super hilarious. coz this guy was sitting opposite me and he cldnt stop talking. and everything that came out of his mouth sounded very intelligent OR a failed attempt at sounding intelligent.
For example.
Singapura shld be called HARIMAUpura. That means, tiger city instead of lion city. he blamed that the prime minister accompanying sang nila utama prob was super blur and stupid for mistaking a tiger for a lion. and he went on and on and on.
however, an interesting point he brought up was the fact that every business venture that begins with lion seemed to have failed to achieve great success whereas brand names starting with tiger seems to flourish, eg. tiger beer. also, he told his friends that spore soccer players shld not be called young lions coz its the main reason why they are under achieving. coz he alledged that young lions are supposedly lazy.
he even predicted that war in future would involve only 2 groups of ppl. the scientist and the hacker. the scientist will develop the bombs/warfare materials whereas the hacker will use codes to intercept the war materials. eg. sending missiles back to the country or something.
There are many other relevant examples, just that im lazy. appalled that that guy can talk sooo much and soooooo loudly contributing much to the degradation of the initially serene and peaceful environment
there was this family who boarded 10 somewheer near st pats. they wanted to go to the hawker centre at bedok corner. cant blive that they are oblivious to the fact that the hakwer centre been torn down to make way for upgrading projects. they shld just go to simpang bedok to have dinner or smtg instead of alighting and going back home.
anyway, i was kinda bored on the bus. did some thinking again. realised that the bus driver switches on the front ceiling light only when the bus stops for passengers. guess it has to do with the visibility level of the driver. how it affects him i mean.
thinking abt it... yup.. still strategising!! dreams without strategies are merely worthless dreams and we ought to sleep in order to achieve those dreams..
