it seems so fast...
once again im recollecting
2 months ago
mugging overnight at airport
this very date.
22nd October 2004
either with Atik or Andrew
it was either coffee bean, starbucks or food discovery
it was 10 days straight of mugging overnight
as it was the fasting month
and i cldnt focus in the day
mocha frapucinno venti was my constant buddy
together with the radio receiver of my then nokia 6610
i would dump lots of notes into clear plastic folders
into my blue mambo haversack
usually would carry an overabundance of materials
exceeding my personal abilities
it was fun i suppose
with a target and a goal
and the opportunity to take walks
amidst the quiet and serene atmosphere
as well as observe the routinal lifestyle of the airport staff
airport seems all too unfamiliar now
the shortcuts that i found out
the cleanest and quietest toilets around...
cheapest food.
prayer room
all too near but vaguely far
not within my reach
it was a passage of uncertainty
and at times hopelessness
capabilities to complete were tested
determination and peserverance were demanded
somehow, we ended our journey, together.
which was about 1 month ago
i dont know
am i doing it right
its my 16th day working
i believe i havent enjoyed enough.
worse thing is that
everybody is going their own separate ways now
never ever gonna confluence unlike what we learn in hydrology
isnt it weird.
the future seems ever weirder now
i like to challenge myself
thats the only way to improve.
u can compare, but fighting with others is no use
coz its yr own life
and u r supposed to run it the way you wan it
follow your own dreams and aspirations
do not work to impress others but yrself.
it seems 2004 gonna end
before ido a proper recollection at the end of the year
just wanna say
this year been fast
experienced lots to turn me into a more responsible young adult.
why did i use turn
ok. lets see.
since im ending my MOE based education
lets do this
what i miss about....
Yamaha Music School (MP)
- wiping our hands on our own towels outside the toilet
- chinese lessons. juz trace out characters while the teacher played some cassette tape
- birthday parties, usually mc donalds party
- school bus esp along ECP route, and the roundabout near parkway parade
St Hildas Pri Sch (K2)
-Mdm wong kok kai
-playing sessions, we will rotate stations everyday
SHPS (pri1-6)
-Mdm wong kok kai
-recess
-ms foo pee pee
-childrens day
-teachers day
-excursions
-group work
-penmanship
-prefects??? <-- ?????
SHSS (sec 1-4)
-geography
-PE (horror!!)
-band(ms lim)
-prefects/council <-- camps etc.
-andrew turning the shower cap to spray water into my cubicle while i pee. mf. haha. and iw ill do likewise.
-rizal kicking the cubicle door while bharat is inside
-mrs june yeo's accent.
-missing OHPs
-laughing at lee kim seng's jokes
-trying to make my hair look short so daphne yeoh wont catch me
-trying to rush down to canteen for recess so can quickly buy food
-clarence chang flattening the drink cans
-attempts to make teachers cry
-attempts to hide our books so as not to bring them home
-overnight camps.
TPJC
-dinner with band mates
-night band practices esp during SYF period
-section dinner/lunch
-class running away from lectures. esp ms wong's!
-mdm chen screaming
-kelvin tan faking
-karen teo's smile and her assurance
-sahlan's encapsulations
-lpy's mindmaps
-constantly checking watches to find out how much longer before GP ends
-GP lectures coz of the weird videos
-Mrs neo's "I TELL YOU AH!"
-umbrella man
-criticising the canteen food
-running away from school
-lastly..... this is weird... but yeah.. the feeling i get when i walk out of the library after mid day. the sweltering hot sun against the white facade of TPJC gives some sort of weird effect to the environment. think its just unique
-plus Mary elizabeth lim and mdm solahar
-and going out of school gate to a congested bus stop
oh well
