W A R N I N G
As this is my last post for year 2004, its gonna be very long so be prepared. So if you dont feel good, please don't read. or at least scroll to my prom pics
Its some sort of customary for me to like wrap up the year by listing out the most memorable events/happenings that occured in the past 12 months. so here goes...
In retrospect, year 2004 has been an extremely challenging phase as we deal with our studies as well as maintaining and building friendships. it was not easy but it was not that tough. i mean, afterall we have gone through it and come out as mature and able individuals.

january
- OG1 - OGL together with serene, lynnette and hui yi. established bonds with OGMs. had outings and all. even a bbq at serene's place. was quite fun, but my main purpose was of course to get to know as many year 1 band members and get them to join band
- Topical Test - screwed up almost everything. haha. oh well.
- Absence of Miss Karen Teo - something significant as we tried to adjust to mr kelvin tan's humanified physical geography. lol. and mr sahlan's encapsulations of human geography
- Relationships... get what i mean?
- Promoted to Vice Pres in Band coz they needed someone to take on that post. oh well. it was sheer hard work man.
- New time table. wasnt that good. monday short day, tues long, wed short, thurs very long, friday short. but adjusted to it anyway..
february
- most memorable - My 18th BIRTHDAY. celebrated it after band with 15 other band mates at fish and co. was gr8. indeed. lots of presents. like chocs frm diy, the fish and co meal frm section, slippers and tshirts from classmates. oh well, i remember. and yeah. most impt - cash from parents. lol
- band was getting tough. studies getting more difficurt. wasnt easy to handle. the stress was overwhelming. thinking abt it now makes me not wanna go thru it again. haha.
- lots of night studying at BK downtown east together with serene, clarice, edwin, xinjia, thaddeus, cleavon, cw. all the late nights. LOL
march
- march hols - damn packed with band and all. hmmm.. yeap. and the incident thingy. haiz. wished it didnt happen but of coz like any other things, it happened for a reason and we are glad that it brought us closer together as one unit of workers/leaders.
- the month was tougher than february as study load became heavier. inundated by tests and what not.
- just know that spent lots of time settling band stuff.
- getting closer to crossing borders. the stress and pressure to perform well. the tickets. the logistics. the rehearsals. the internal problems. the external problems. everything. headache.
- cant remember what happened other than band band band for the month of april.
- the concert.. was great...
- songfest. mad taxi rides from town where we usually freak the drivers out into thinking that we were drunk or smtg. haha mad.
- band stand-down. was so happy
- mug for common test
- work at spore expo
- slack and rot
- and mug
- but still fail common test.
- what... youth day?
- starting to gear up for A levels. i mean prelims.
- national day. we love spore. the red shirts we had to wear.
- watching it via the internet at doranne's dad's office so that we can watch fireworks with a spectacular view!
- spore idol? was stupid initially.. to me.. too fake and copied. not original?
- intensive mugging begins.
- wasnt sure whether cld finish or not

- prelims. screwed

- fasting begins
- it was like wake up go school for appointments, come back sleep. break fast. leave hse mug overnight at airport until next day and yeah. was like that everyday for like 2 weeks?
- was a tough month but with mugging buddies like grace ong sophan and shafi, we overcome it all.
- As started and As ended. dont wanna elaborate on it. the results will tell it all
- preparation for prom.
- Hmm. once As over, it felt like nothing. just directionless but of coz happy that its finally over.

- work at coccinelle raffles city/taka/paragon. cool place. cool people. and cool pay
"oh this kind of thing occurs everywhere we got to go on"
"on one hand... on the other hand..." bah bah bah
i mean, u care so much abt impacts of 911 but what abt those poor helpless people out there.
its interesting to note that the killer waves struck areas where poverty is rampant. which will make their situation even more worse. but all we can do is just to empathise with the victims. but wonder how indonesia will cope as they expect the death toll to rise to over 100 000
anyway, mediaworks will be ceasing their operation next year. monopolised by mediacorp. hmm. hmmm. dont wanna go into benefit and cost analysis.
