today was quite a fun day
woke up early at 7 to get ready for my 1st practical lesson. dad sent me to cdc. met sivashankari so chatted a bit with her. then bumped into azri. upon checking the notice board, i was to drive car number 44. lol. doranne drove the same car at the later time slot. yeah. was ok lah. had quite a few stamps. but yeah. had some minor problems with the steering wheel coz i tend to over steer. lol. half clutch technique isnt as difficult as i thought. just that i need to get used to it. the instructor was kinda weird. he told me to FEEL IT. kept reminding me not to look at the speedometer coz i got to feel it. like watashiet. my 1st lesson and im getting used to the ultra super sensitive accelerator and he expects me to FEEL it. just drove round and round the circuit. lousy cars i must say. lol. oh ok. enuff huh. anyway, while i was learning the half clutch thing at the carpark, saw bharat being dropped off. he had his test today
after lesson. walked to bus stop. took bus. went home to sleep
woke up and andrew asked whether i wanted to have a ride in his car
so i met him at the dropoff point at 3pm. went to UOB to activate the cards. yeah. already activated but we dont have the pin numbers so yeah. cannot use yet. halfway. i had to rush to the toilet coz of my contact lens. wore it the other way round plus there was an eyelash in my eye. so yeah. lens + eyelash = not comfortable. then there was the mata who action only. lol. coz drew parked by the roadside.
then he drove to shell to pump the tyres.
then we decided to give bharat a surprise visit. so yeah. we missed the exit into PIE. so had to go around simei to go thru flyover at melville park. so entetered jln eunos. then went to katong area via still road/telok kurau. then yeah. at jalan tembusu there, abt 20 metres from bharat's hse, saw bharat walking home. lol. so he rode in the car. then went to his place. wow. nice place. haig court. next to the tanjong katong schools. 17th storey. nice furnishing. resembles that of a posh hotel, i must say. bet they must have spent 6 figures on renovation. its kinda big. last storey so it qualifies as a pent hse. lol. kinda spacious. sister's room has a balcony with the view of the city skyline. his room had view of the sea albeit blocked by other blocks of housing.
they played winning eleven for a while
abt 5pm, decided to have another ride. so andrew anyhow drive. and we ended up going towards nicoll highway. and ended up at collyer quay and andrew anyhow drove on and we ended up in eu tong sen st. we had no idea of how to go back. lol. so it was craziness. i was reading the street directory. wanted to exit via river valley but then there was an erp gantry. so he made a u turn only to find that theres erp gantries everywhere. so we exited via havelock road and ended up at pickering st(my workplace) so yeah went back to collyer quay then went back to bharat's place to drop him off.
then wanted to go back to tamp via PIE but decided that its not a good choice. so we followed bus no. 10 route. then at bayshore, andrew tried to be funny and turned towards tjc area. lol. so we took 518 route. at chaichee area, we found ourselves going round and round coz we were talking nonsense. plus theres this stupid lexus who wanted to do some funny shiet when we were turning in to one of the roads.
but thankfully, managed to get into tampines area via the tamp ave 8 or isit 10 way and then went to tamp west cc for some ice cream coz drew was waitin to pick his mum up. so yeah. left after that
was very fun i guess
andrew's a pro driver. passed on saturday but he drives like as if he has been on the road for years. just that he is not very confident of what route to take. but other than that, woahahha, damn power lah. really damn pro. like can control the machine damn well. lol. praising him like crazy. u better drive me around more u bugger (if u read this)
funny driver as well. coz the lanes were slower, he went through the bus stop and ended up overtaking the others.
then at a wrong right junction, just anyhow made a u turn across pedestrian crossing.
yeah. i was telling him.. "u will master the art of u turning in 1 week"
coz he kept u turning coz of wrong routes. lol
and yeah..
he didnt bring his license out with him today..
