so im repeating that im going in tmr.
ok 3/4 packed. well done. i cant find black marker at home. and yeah. just realised i dont have black rubber bands and black tape and scothch tape so gotta rush to the shop to get some tmr. im going in at 1130. my parents sending me. seriously, im thankful that they r sending me. coz i realise that i will miss them so much. haha. coz sometimes, when you spend too much time with your friends, you realise that. oh yeah.. what abt the parents? well. haha. im a good son huh. yeap. so guess tmr will be a busy day.
this few months been very very good seriously. i loved my life. well. can u see its LOVED. coz its already 22nd april. im supposed to be sleeping.
i intended to thank my fren one by one. u noe acknowledgement but i decided to sms them. well. i had lots of touching replies. its really very very touching. haha. well. friends. its my way of thanking and appreciating your presence in my life. haha. some of them even said that as if im dying or something. haha. no lah. its always good to acknowledge another person. lol.
i will miss coccinelle of coz. lol. the place where i spent most of my working days at. lol. silly jokes. weird antics. funny customers. cursing and swearing. and of coz eating. everything will be missed. haha. but time to move on! yeahhh.
sometimes, i find myself so resistant. esp when it involves a change of phases. but i cant help it. haha. felt a lil bit depressed juz nw coz i will definitely miss civilian life. come on. haha. guess BMT will be a breeze as well.
ok. i will blog if i have time tmr. anyway.. the thing i will miss most is MY HAIR. hahaha. been keeping the back since dunno when. but haha. its grown soo long that im so irritated. so yeah. yeay. 2 dollar haircut botak.

As promised, im gonna post a full length entry regarding the past few months. So here it goes...
So time really flies. It has been 5 months since A levels. Dec, Jan, Feb, March and April. Qualifies as almost half a year. As much as i wish that i can be enlisted earlier, i am thankful that i have been given ample time and countless opportunities to try out new things. Although i still wasn't able to complete all my objectives/goals, i am still satisfied that i managed to cover and attempt most of it.
So.. in retrospect...
December 2004
1st Dec - Prom. Still able to play images of prom in my mind. Was super excited. Was full of pomp and glitter.
2nd Dec - went for job interview at Aigner. lol. was very very lucky. managed to get the job coz they were in need of staff. went with serene and poh lu. poh lu turned out to be one of aigner's best temporary staff. lol. and the manager's favourite. when i remember that jessica complained that he was blur on his first day. haha. khaledah interviewed me. and she sent me to coccinelle. i had no idea what kind of brand coccinelle is. lol. all i knew was that khaledah said that " coccinelle needs a guy!!" so yeahahaha. and her remark at the end of the interview was.. "am i interviewing you or are you interviewing me?" haha. she is the supermama with 6 kids.. as pohlu would say. orite. back on track now. after the interview, went back home to sleep.
3rd dec- my 1st day at coccinelle. haha. went to the mosque 1st. initially had quite a hard time looking for the shop. yeah. found steph in the pantry. and had to serve customers straightaway. belived i was blur then coz yeah. what?? bags??? haha. all of them looked the same to me. then we did the xmas decor. lol.then jess came back.. well i remembered that we had standchart promotion. 25% off. and lots of ppl came to buy. there was even this customer who rushed home and came back later in the evening with her standchart so as not to miss out the good promotion. HAHAHA. and yeah, i served her on at least 2 other occasions at taka.
the rest of the month was a breeze. sortof got accustomed to retail life. my hours were odd. 1.30-9.30 everyday. yeah. posted to taka on some days. yeah. it was damn boring. esp if they extend their hours.. 2.30-10.30. i remembered some nasty experience. like when lily, the laff laulen(LOL) staff told me to put my hands in front and not at the back. lol. hated her then. but turns out everybody at that corner, ralph lauren, lulu guiness, lesportsac and longchamp are extremely friendly and helpful. and when i told the security guard to shut up when he asked me why i got no name tag. haha. orite.
outing wise, i can only remember the xmas eve outing. with dor, kok, pwee and candy. they went to find me at raffles city coccinelle. then we went to the pacific coffee joint at citylink. had coffee and some pastries. just stoned and then i went home coz it was already 12 plus. haha. orite. okok. im tryin to recall what other gatherings i had.
oh yeah, apart from that outing, i just remembered that i went out with andrew, grace chen and hui si on 13th December. one of the few off days i had in december. lol. went around town. watched a movie.. cant remember what now. they had sushi(yucks). then walked around orchard road as the xmas decor was still up. took 518 home. yeap.
Conclusion : December was quite a breeze. It was when i got my 1st pay cheque. and it was alot! really beyond my expectation. coz the basic pay was only 5 per hr. and theres incentive. 10 dollars per item sold. plus they had end of season sale.. so u can imagine... but im broke now. bah. thats not e point. the next point is that yeah, i managed to make new friends. ie. my colleagues esp stephanie and jessica. lol. they are the raffles city coccinelle team. yup. only 2 of them. lol. and yeap. very helpful ever willing to teach. cheerful and fun.
January 2005
Became even busier. Learnt more stuff at coccinelle. Like the previous month, was trusted to man the taka counter alone. Which can get quite scary coz u got to deal with nasty customers(coz of alteration, goods exchange etc) or nasty office people who think that everybody in sales cannot make it coz they are too stupid thats why they cant find other jobs, yeaps. I remember that yeah, work wise, there was this crazy day. when i IOS 10 bags from paragon to taka and then WT came at abt 6plus. after siti went home. so i had to settle over 60/70 bags. haha. almost died. my stock didnt tally. but found out that it was part of a spillover effect. coz there are like sooo many staff on rotation at taka. the counting can get veyr very complicated. The pay this month wasnt as good as dec's coz 1stly, i request to work lesser days. and secondly, was at taka, so yeah, supposedly slower sales then raffles city coz of the abundance of bags over there. plus coccinelle might be regarded as some kucingkurap brand by singaporeans who only go for ehem.. lv or gucci. lol. thats all they noe.
had lots of gathering. yup. lunch appointments with hak, shuhui, huiran etc among many others. settles rouge thing. BAH. did their tickets. BAH. and yeah. yeah. rememberd the day when janice came and then freaked jessica out. coz she was so funny. and they ate nuts together in the shop. and then supposed to meet melvin but he got stomach problem. lol! oh yeah. the day when melvin took the wrong bus and ended up in tampines instead of holland v. and then managed to gather some ppl for a mini gathering at nydc. lol. nice cheesecake. lol. and then yeah the seoul garden meal, incredibles(lagging) and basically thats it. oh yeah, as well as athena's bday party at 3monkeys on 24th i think. or isit 23rd. one of the sundays. i came after work. 930. there was mario, ade and bf, athena and veron. lol.
conclusion : january was even faster. came up with the decision not to continue in feb. and gave a lame reason.. scared that i will get enlisted. but janet was damn smart.. "they will tell u at least 2 months in advance what?" and then we found out of the family ties.. hahahahha. damn funny. good month. i remembered signing up for driving as well. lol. on 24th january. lol. all my money was channeled to driving. yeay. well done.
february 2005
2nd feb was my basic theory as well as my job interview. got the job at singtel. well.supposedly a 1 month assignemnt but only worked for 3 weeks. yeah. i realised that im just summarising all my previous posts so you can actually just click on the previous post. and ta-da. lol. haha. ok
im in need of time now so..
conclusion : short month. was fun. visited to coccinelle a few times and ended up working for 5 days at taka. aigner closed down. lol. yeah.
march 2005
conclusion : had intensive driving lesosns but discovered that i wont finish in time before NS. worked at coccinelle for 4 days at raffles city. haha. so funny. then left for thailand.. for 5 days break.
april 2005

ok well done. i experienced a bad night. woke up at 4. and my nose was bleeding EXCESSIVELY. haha. had to rush to the toilet and cldnt sleep thenafter coz i had to lie down in an awkward position. arghh. many thanks to the 7 packets of durians we had at furrerton merrion, i am semi sicked now. haha. how to eat all the favourite delicasies(HOW TO SPELL?) before i go in? delicisies. oh shiet. haha. ok. lets just stick to favourite food. ok. gonna work at taka today. yeay last day. anyway. i was stopped by one stupid taka security officer as i was coming out of the department store yesterday for carrying one stack of coccinelle's catalogue. i was supposed to send stock over to paragon and taka. so at paragon, i just took some catalogues and then yeah brought it over to taka together with the stock. then normah, from aigner asked me to help bring out her shoes. so i brought it out. just walked out in a cool manner than that stupid bastard stopped me. haha. madness. anyway. they are just so paranoid over this kind of thing. as long as you are a staff there, you better watch out. ok i need to shit. brb

haha. today's outing was good! yeah. really..
ok 1st of all, woke up rather late. at 830. felt super tired. then yeah. received a call from Azrina. she said she dont have the key with her. yeah the shop keys. then asked me if i have been to steph's hse before. yeah i went there for some dinner thing. then she told me to cab there. then hmm. she called back saying that theres no need coz she stays nearer to woodlands. yeah so i went down to raffles city and then to the supermarket. grabbed some stuff and then did my counting. haha. then i folded stars and ate what i bought from the supermarket. and then yeah.. it was 6pm
so i changed and walked to the mrt station. met ck and jac. then we walked to suntec. supposed to meet for dinner. was worried coz the skies appeared to be threatening. then yeah. just walked to carrefour. spent quite a long time there.. ok.. jac has a very good description of what happened. anyway, met guosh there. with his broken sandals. haha.damn funny lah. remember that we sat at the exact merrion spot outside furreton 1 month ago. yeah. its 1 month ago! 16th march. went lau pa sat then to the same spot. haha. wow. ok. then i took 10 home again. funny ppl.

taka today. wow. haha. long time since i worked at taka. actually just last thursday. oh well what happened today. nothing much. just went out with hakwei after work. based on a last minute decision. i flew over to paragon as soon as the clock ticked 530. haha. and then grabbed my ipod and bag and flew over to raffles city to leave my stuff bhind and then flew over to meet hak. then we went to checkout some adidas and cd and books. and then went to KFC to have dinner. and then went back to check books and cds. in the end he bought 2 books at mph in raffles city. so next walked to bugis. ended up having coffee at coffee bean. and went home. oh well. met quite a few of band ppl today. like zhuyi and jacq on the way home. on the train. they are still the same. so romantic. haha. couple for dunno hw mnay years. and we were talking abt band stuff. yeap. all the old times. like farewell and orientation parties, malaysian trips, camps. yeap. haha. very nostalgic of coz. coz band formed a major part of my life in secondary school. n yeah, most of my seniors/bathcmates and juniors were/are my very good friends. haha. even met samuel phua when we were commenting on his flat oboe solo for fate of the gods for impressions 6(right?). and even sam and his ehem. haha. he cldnt recog me. damn funny. apparently hak said sam told his sister EVERYTHING. wow. so interesting huh.
and yeah. gonna meet up with hak and a couple of other band ppl on i tink mon evening for supper. haha. he is damn funny. he showed me his 7.2 megapixel camera. he said he wanna be a good photographer. u noe. can see the rays when take vehicles passing the road. so he said one night he stood by his window with the camera. but no car seemed to pass. its coz firstly, the road is quite far away. and its deserted. and secondly, the back of his hse.. all grass, a mosquito infested pond and lots of coconut trees. haha damn funny lah. haha.

woke up ard 9. darn so late. got ready. rushed to andrew's place. went for a swim. printed out stuff for stephanie. and then yeah. took cab to the mrt. argh. then reached raffles city. and then took the stock to pg. and then i went to meet ade. had a lil lunch then went to borders and then went backto lido to watch GUESS WHO. hmm. quite interesting. and its even more interesting to note that there is an increasing number of movies with storylines revolving around blacks. haha. okiez.
there were some major complications involving the team today. damn funny lah. the whole thing was funny coz staff had to be transferred everywhere. just realised that pg is actually not a bad place to work at. though i only work there for 2 days(full). haha. yeap. had quite a good talk with farah. good as in good kind of LONG TIME NO SEE kind of good. haha. she was at givenchy today. told me that yeah, she is treated like a full timer as well. and she talked abt all the latest happenings in retail. like tod's opening a new botique in taka. jessica told me that too. haha. oh ok.
okiez. the clock is ticking. haha.. somehw, i cant wait... no regrets...

it feels quite good to have experienced a packed day. yeap. what happened today. woke up at 7 but then went back to sleep. so woke up at 9plus. went to the gym for a 1 hr workout. dunno why, but nearly dieded on the treadmill. lol. been 2 weeks since the last time i went to the gym so that explains everything i guess. and then i went home. uploaded some songs to my mini. then arranged to go andrew's hse. yeah went to his hse and then helped him a bit with his search for a part time job. and then went for a swim. which was kind of terrible. goggless and i think i swallowed/drank 1/4 of the water in the pool. haha. but ok lah. i tot i totally forgot breast stroke but yeah with drew's guidance, cld recall. haha. he cant blive that i actually got swimming certs. hahaha. i oso cant blive how i pass all the tests. yeah. and then rushed down to city hall at 3 to meet my colleagues. yeah had lunch at BK then they used up some vouchers. and then i went to meet hak. went to watch the pacifier. had dinner a pizza hut. haha. coz there were only 2 of us, so the meal came up to rather expensive. coz usually i wld go with 3 or 4 other frens so the bill wld only come to at most 9 bucks each. yeah walked ard PS. he bought some scores. and i actually blived him when he said that his parents gave him 10k to buy a new piano today. sheesh.. yeah. so just walked ard and went home. yeay. here i am. :) got nice songs in my ipod now! haha. ok. shall blog more later

i met hew wing and andrew AGAIN. so we have been meeting up everyday with the exception of yesterday. so.. lets recall.
sunday - dinner with ade, hw, quanbao and andrew
monday - went out with andrew and hw. went bharat's hse. and then to airport for dinner.
tuesday - met up with hw and ade at suntec for gelare. then qb joined us for movie at tm. and cancelled our fisherman village chilling session as well as champions league screening.
wednesday - met up with andrew to look for frames. but cldnt find. in the end, just slacked ard. hew wing joined us after work.
thursday - work.
friday(today) -
supposed to wake up bright and early to go to the gym. but was too lazy coz i dont have small change for the gym. haha. so just stayed at home. went to the mosque. and then andrew was supposed to pick me up at my hse roundabout but he was late as usual. when i left my hse, he called me to say that he is on the bus on the way to interchange. coz he needed to go shps 1st to get the car. so i collected my thai photos and then waited for him at the side gate. so yeah. took the car went to bras basah to look for frames. but wasnt very successful. so we decided to buy the frame from the puzzle shop. damn funny coz we were thinking of the cheapest places to park. in the end parked at st andrew's cathedral for free. coz he had the carpark sticker. damn funny lah. haha. coz we parked on the grass turf. and saw this old nissan sunny parked downwards, on a slope. like going to fall off already. yeah so we walked to suntec. and then bought the frame then went back to the car. but cldnt fit. so i suggested going to coccinelle to trim the edges. yeah. so we walked through swissotel. and yeah azrina was inside. kind enough to lend us a scissors. so yeah put the puzzle in the frame. orite. this is weird. qb made puzzle for someone special. and so did andrew. haha. and its both winnie the pooh. but then andrew refuses to disclose any details abt it. that big MF. hahaha. vulgar.. orite. picked hew wing up. then went thai express along upper east coast. yeah just had mango salad. then he sent me home then he picked his mum up. its funny when andrew drives. coz he will do all the weird weird things. like reversing out of a one way road coz we entered the wrong road. and by the way, we always take incorrect routes. haha. and yeah, for one thing, he was driving in the opposite directions at all the carpark we went today. and yeah. invited lots of stares. haha
anw coccinelle called me back to work today. seriously, i wldnt mind if it was a 12 hr shift, coz i cld earn alot. but then, i was thinking.. i promised hak and andrew. and yeah. supposed to enjoy as much as possible now coz im not in dire straits yet. haha. ok gonna be at paragon this weekend and raffles city on monday!. :)

its funny. on some days, you wake up feeling down. wishing that you could experience something that you are fond of. something that you've gone through and familiar with. no matter how hard you tell yourself that you have to let go, you still grasp on tightly to something that can nvr materialize. isn't it funny that we are always changing phases but we can nvr make smooth transitions.
sometimes, forgetting the past aint easy. appreciating the present is a lil harder. and... making realistic plans for the future.. even more difficult.
we may regret not cherishing some of the little things that happened today, tomorrow.
we may regret not planning for the future, today.
we may regret not understanding what im trying to blog coz i have no freaking idea how to phrase my sentence pls pls help me and i just realise that i have no punctuation marks whatsoever for the entire sentece well done congratulations lets call for a celebration yeayyeay my blog is 22 months old anyway. ok there it is... my 1st full stop
fyi, unlike my other batch mates, i still got 2 more weeks to go before i enlist. finally. seriously, i have been enjoying my 4months plus break. im into my 5th month now. and yeah. 5th month working at cc(not that i work for 5 full months though). okok. shall leave all the reflections to a later date.
anyway, my comp just got fixed. cldnt even use my dad's comp due to my busy schedule. anyway, yup. another anyway

in retrospect(i thought we only use this word in GP), the past few months been very fast. it was december, and now we are already in April. haha.life been good. but i shall blog my reflection 2 days before i enlist. to my friends who are going in tmr(NDU or Tekong), all e best. i will join you guys in 2 weeks. haha. haiz. when i woke up this morning, apart from asking myself whether i am still in thailand, i looked into the mirror and wondered... "how wld i look like, hairless and all shaven"
anyway, about yesterday. yesterday, yes. went for driving lessons after 11 days break. did directional change. quite fun actually. and yeah. went to coccinelle paragon after that wow. i helped them changed a lightbulb and helped them hang this super heavy banner. and helped them fill water. haha. i stayed there till 6 plus so i shld just work over there right. anyway,im down for 6 days at ccrc/ccpg. so yeap. how exciting. and coz one of the staff need to take urgent leave, they say they might need me to work on more days. i dont mind. coz i dont need to look for a job and since im also planning a trip after my BMT as well as a BIG trip after i ORD, i might as well work and save up(hopefully since ive been repeatedly telling myself that ive got nothing else to spend on. coz i think what i have are already sufficient. plus fyi, i only bought 1 shirt and 1 berms for myself despite spending so much in thailand" yeah actually as usual i donno what im typing abt. im just rattling on and on.
anyway guess what my comp's spoilt coz my brother.. damn funny. sicko. he accidentally logged off. so now he cant log into the whole damn thing. haha. dunno what he is gonna do. so now im uisng my fathers computer
waiting for andrew's reply cause he aksed whether wanna go out later. but to where huh. haha.

its funny. when meeting up, we still prefer to meet at SMALL MACDONALDS. hah.so just now met andrew for seoul gdn. then met hew wing. went bharat's hse. wow. the pool is damn nice lah. ok. then left katong for ... airport. had dinner... simple one. slack and left and thats my monday in 1 sentence. ok a few sentences. ok a paragraph. happy?
i dunno why im so resistant to changes. i hate it sometimes. i dunno. i like to picture myself in the past. its like. "if only it was 1 week ago, i wld be getting ready to go to thailand. and yeah. this is the row where i checked in and yeah, the entrance. i went to this toilet" etc. madness. haha

I decided to bring my mambo bag and the brown sling one since im too lazy to pack into luggage bag coz its troublesome. so yeap. just transferred some songs into my ipod and yeah, uploaded pics into comp. and by the time i completed that it was already abt 10. supposed to meet qb at 1115. so i bathed and yeah. changed. sky turned grey. overcast. started to pour so i had no choice but to take bus to the interchange coz i had to settle my SMU application. needed to photostat some stuff. and yeap, was raining real heavily. then i took 27 to the airport. yeap. alighted at t2. went ntuc. and discovered that i can get everything in thailand. so just bought the jelly beans and took skytrain to t1 to meet QB. he was with je. and checked in. took some photos. and went to the transit area. walked around for awhile. took more pics. used free internet. and yeah. supposed to have an entry here coz i actually blogged but the system screwed up! haha. so didnt come out. yup. boarded the plane. hmm. andrew's a smarty pants. he told me the plane wld be boeing 777-300. correct. so smart. yeap. took off. landed at bkk at abt 3plus. waited quite awhile for the forever travel rep who seemed to take forever. and yeah. she said "the car broken so must take cab otw muz wait 1 hour" i think its one of their lil scams. but yeah. she paid 200baht, out of which 50 baht should be returned to her. but who cares. she had to get off halfway coz she had to "chase some tourists for payment". madness. so yeap reached baiyoke suite hotel. checked in. slack around. alright the hotel is quite old. but generally everything was in working order albeit they need renovation badly. our room was on the 19th floor. the size of the room was twice that of an ordinary one. coz we have a living room with all the normal hotel facilities, and a connected bedroom. yeap. then we decided to venture on our own. so we just walked out of the hotel area. found out that "pratunam = shopping area" refers to pasar malam or roadside style of shopping which isnt what qb and me were looking for. and we ended up walking to the skytrain station. i think payathai. cld see the station from our hotel room but trust me, the roads make it damn far lah. coz of the turns and what nots. hmm. made a rather unwise decision by buying 10ride pass(actualy for local students only but we somehow managed to get it) for 160baht. then took a trip to siam. the interchange. wow. the skytrain is modelled after singapore's highly successful MRT system i guess. hmm. they are using our old farecard system. yeah. even the ticket machines are similar, and the gantries, the same. but the trains seem to have better engines. we made our way to siam center. one of the hip places in bkk. and then to siam discovery. we were mad coz qb was in singlets and slippers whereas i was in berms and slippers. and we were walking around, going into every shop. esp in discovery, bigger brands. just walked into Guess, DKNY, AX etc like nobody's business and yeah the retail staff were staring.. coz for one thing, i look like local. and yeah. siam center's fantastic coz they carry surf brands like ripcurl and quiksilver and yeah. super bigggg. and yeap. nice thai girls. anw. abt the local part. coz i neither look like a chinese nor malay which makes me quite thai looking so yeah. very very funny. coz they wld stare like.. "what is this local doing here" after that went to siam square a while. just the periphery and then went MBK. had dinenr there. spent 50 baht. or 2 dollars on some rice with crab meat and drink coz my choice kinda limited. yeap. food's damn cheap. walked ard MBK and then went to the supermarket. qb bought 9 bottles of alcohol beverages coz damn cheap. then took cab back to hotel. the taxi driver siao. wanted to charge us 100baht initially. SIAO. so expensive. in the end made it back to the hotel for 49baht. haha. then just slacked in hotel room and slept.

i woke up at 6plus bangkok time. its either bcoz i was too excited or coz i was not used to the bed. plus slept with only 1 pillow lah. and then qb woke up around 8plus then had breakfast at 9. the breakfast spread was marvellous. yummy at 1st lah. qb had 10 eggs in total. scrambled, fried, omelette etc. and we went back to our hotel room to shiet(became a routine). i would usually shiet right after breakfast. then just slacked awhile. and then went set off for shopping! supposed to have some kind of city tour but then we decided to forgo it coz we figured out that we wld have to spend alot on tipping had we decided to go. so walked ard the area. actually quite lots of things that we cld buy but yea. some of the prices werent right coz they purposely jack up the price. so yeah. not very worth it, even if u bargain sometimes. and then ended up at one gems collection place. bought some stuff. went off to the skytrain. took to emporium. wonderful place. with all the big brands like prada, tod's, fendi, gucci, hermes, LV. something like ngee ann city/taka. with a department store called emporium. walked around. and yeah. they were having this quiksilver end of season. but had really goooooddd stuff. 40-50% percent off. so qb and i spent 8000over baht in total. MAD right.. tats 300plus sgd.we even came back at night coz we thought we shld buy a bit mroe and qb wanted to change some stuff. then went to some indian inn near our hotel coz we didnt had dinner. had our 2nd meal of the day at 11pm local time. we realised that. wow. we only have 2 meals per day. and 1 is considered as free(by the hotel). haha. the food wasnt good but we had to make do with it. went back hotel SLEEP. haha

woke up even later. went for breakfast at 930. breakfast supposed to end at 10. but we took our time. until almost 11. hahaha.then went back hotel room shiet. and then get ready to go out. wanted to spend the whole day at isetan but watashiet. got this stupid tuktuk driver who kept on askin if we wanna ride. even when we declined and walked away, he followed us. then he was like okok 20 baht to isetan. coz before that qb was like "ok lets try tuktuk one day and end up with black faces coz of the polluition and dust" and wow. our dream came true. ended up that he was like some kind of tourist ambassador. and then he asked us to help him. dunno go some tourist thing. ahyah. one of the gems shop lah. coz they have this thing lah. if the tuktuk driver bring tourist to the gem shops, they will get some gasoline coupon. we though there was no harm in taking a look. so yeap. ended up in this lousy shop with super persuasive shop staff. they wanted to make me buy this 7000bath brooch. SIAO. they reduced the px to 3000. but SIAO. i was wasting their time and felt good abt it. coz they were too agressive. so just went out of the shop. and then told the tuktuk man to get us to isetan. but then he said one last one. in exchange for a free ride. so we thought.. ok lah. go in for 5 min and come out. turns out we spent 5 hrs there coz the ladies there super nice. chinese thai. so in the end i bought this 1400baht ring for my mum. she slashed the price by 50%. usually i think they give 40% as best price. but then i was supposed to get this 350 sing dollar. she give 66% discount. hmm. shes the lady boss and yeah very very professional. she even taught us on precious an semi precious stones etc. and at the end of everything, we cld compare higher grade and lower grade stones. i didnt had enough funds yeah. too bad. she said that she comes to spore often coz she supplies tianpo, leewah, goldheart those kind. she said the px in spore is 2.5 times more expensive. unlike the previous 2 shops, the 3rd shop is actually a factory. they do their jewellery on the 2nd floor. service was damn good lah. hmm. understandable they chinese, so yeap, business skills damn pro. and yeah. she was wearing this rolex watch MODIFIED. she put diamonds all over the face. haha. and aigner glasses. haha. so left at abt 4plus. the tuktuk man drove us to central world plaza. really damn big. 2-3times bigger than ngee ann city. but nothibng much actually. had jap food for dinner. and yeap, it was the first time we had a proper meal. i had some sushi and some potato salad. counted as a high crass place coz it was empty. :x ok lame. the place was really nice lah. then went to lots of sports shop. kept comparing prices. lucky didnt buy on the spot. and then crossed over to the Big C. hmm. supermarket and cineplex. then walked down to the shoopping centres ard the area. like gaysorn and erawan. found aigner in erawan. another paragon. all the big brands. took train to emporium coz theres this sports shop which qb and me refer to as BIRD shop. haha. coz lots of nike stuff. actualy only nike and adidas over two levels. and then decided to come back the next day. so went back to central world plaza. bought some adidas stuff on sale. haha. and then we went macs. wow. super cheap. 2 mac meals in thai = 1 mac meal in spore. yeap. then sat along the streets. looking at ppl. like ppl watching outside taka lah. then hmm walked downwards. some makeshift kinda stalls. then took cab back to baiyoke suite. rest. went to buy slippers. yeah. i spoiled qb's chances of a successful bargaining session coz i was too tired. then went back room and watched tv

ok. once again we had a late breakfast. was beginning to get sick of the same food. can puke. haha. but i enjoy drinking the orange and pineapple juices. and we would take like 3-4 glasses at one go. super kiasu. haha. we took the skytrain and then stopped at siam. went around siam square. walked around. bought some stuff. small small ones. and then went back to one of the shops we went to. and yeah. took some money out AGAIN. pissed my dad coz kept asking money. guess what. transferred 650 altogether. out of which 150 is my bro's contribution. and yeah. lent qb some. and actually i only used 200. yeah. ONLY. haha. i mean the kind of shopping! had some kind of mini lunch at A & W coz we wanted to drink the float but ended up having curly fries, waffle and chicken. haha. damn funny. ended up at some warner bros shop. bought some souvenirs. actualy before that went siam center with the intention of checking out e price of the anti racism but ended up buying lots of adidas and nike stuff from this sports shop. coz i guess these shops right. they can put higher percentage discounts coz they rather get rid of the stocks. whereas those adidas stores wanna get rid of stock ASAP. some sporean shoppers told us abt this discount card and guess where we spent it on... macdonalds. one large fries and get one regular coke free. typical. the guy at the counter didnt even noe such a thing exists. and had to check with the manager. hahah. took train back to phrom phong and bought some stuff from the bird shop thing. and yeah. teh guy's nice. gave us 10percent discount. perhaps coz of qb's friendliness or bcoz their shop no VAT refund but we still insist on buying. yeah.. and then went back hotel rest. with no dinner. haha. then went out of the hotel and headed to the infamous and naughty patpong. we tried to act smart by trying to hail a taxi far from our hotel. none stopped. coz they assumed we were locals. instead all e empty cabs turned into our hotel. so we went back and took a cab. patpong. was kinda interesting. this bargain nightmarket. i think i didnt bargain enough but i dont care coz i just wanted to settle my gifts. so yeah. spent 1 hour walking round and round. and yeah it was madness coz its teh red light district lah. and coz of that there were ppl promoting services like SEX SHOW. Selling sex dvds. and yeah. on some roads u can see the girls waiting to serve customers. all dressed and dolled up as if they r gonna attend prom night or smtg. haha. and yah. even walked into this alley with lots of gay pubs. was kinda scary and yeah we didnt even realised until we walked out of it. haha. damn funny lah. then tried to hail a cab back. spent quite a long time. coz none wanted to charge by meter. so we had to settle for 80baht. ok,. went back hotel room. had some cup porridge. seriously nice. then went to sleep. dunno why
today 2nd april 2005
woke up quite late. 7plus. bathed. left for breakfast at 8. supposed to check out by 9. and then hahahah. had to rush through breakfast. realised that we didnt had enough time only after i got qb a big bowl of cereals. and had to drink 8 cups of orange juice. haha so we quickly went back hotel room at 845. (the lift super slow. 4 lifts serving 43 floors.. :x) reached hotel room then quickly shat and get all our stuff. got out and and waited for lift. and check out and waited for lift again and then the anti climax is we waited 1/2 hr for judy to no avail so we hailed a cab. wanted to charge us 300 but the security helped us. so yeah meter. haha. was appreciating whats around me. and yeah. reached airport quite early. then checked in etc. do all the tax vat refund, airport tax and all. yeah. changed some money back to sgd. boarded plane. 747 this time. hmm was kinda fast. the flight was kinda fun coz both of us were acting retardedly. and yeha think we pissed ppl ard us as well the cabin crew. haha. qb had some business class food coz we didnt had a choice for the food part. i had MOSLEM MEAL. oklah. not very nice. the going to thai food was nicer. but yeah who cares. watched cartoons. haha. then yeah. ta-da landed in singapore changi international airport. haha. anyway, e head cabin crew shld be some kind of dj coz she kept using the system to announce and announce. damn funny. haha. reached spore. found the immigration queue... we were the only sporeans. so didnt had to queue. HAHA.. then yeah. took cab back.
well the trip has taught me lots. will elaborate later on. too tired now!
