As we learn new things, we get to know more people.
We make more friends.
We widen our social circle.
Sometimes,
We get closer to our new friends as we get to know them better.
And we drift away from friends whom we have known since eons ago.
I remember...
- hanging out with band seniors like hakwei, azli, velma, weifen, sam, JANNA!!, victor etc. Like setting up the xmas tree and doing some kind of nonsense tribal dance around it. Or just the simple meals at the coffee shop across the road. Waiting for Ms lim to arrive in her maroon honda civic LOL. and esp hakwei azli and victor. our Journey to The West! And the outing where we nearly got hit by a car. lol. and yeah. Letitia and Kokila too. damn funny. they r damn drama. i realise that i havent met some of the names above for dunno how long. they made life in shss band super fun.
- council friends like jermaine and siva. we used to occupy the little corner in the council room. where every morning, we will arrive super early like at 0645. coz we needed to complete our HW. or rather exchange HW. In other words COPY. haha. yeap. the council room is super small lah. i remember the mountain of bags that can be seen each time we want to collect our bags after assembly. or council exco meetings with yanxia, yuqian, derek, jeff etc. and all that planning. and those camps where each of us had some kind of responsibility. I played a major part in logistics before they restructured the whole thing. It was kinda fun. And when i was under probation in sec 1, i remember we used to sortof enjoy the numerous meetings that we had after afternoon assembly.
- Classmates! yeah. spent lots of time with them obviously. in lower sec, i remember my clique consisting of teresa, eve, sevverl and bing guang. we used to sit at the back of the class and yeah. talked alot about love. i mean, we were kids. young and naive. we didnt know anything abt love. more of puppy love. i remember the time when ms christina tan punished us coz we wrote rubbish for some kind of creative writing session. or how about the annual class bbq. the planning of the occassion as if it was some kind of big scale mega event. lol. the buying of stuff. with yuqian, caroline and andrew. and yeah remember that yuqian was super cool coz she had a HP. haha in upper sec, i hanged around ppl like andrew foo, bharat, xue kun and rizal. upper sec was fun, esp sec 4. sec 3 was kinda dull and gloomy. i remember the time when we clapped for nothing. just kept on clapping at the teachers. even to Lee kim Seng. haha. we were damn scared of lee kim seng. and we dread physics practical. coz he was like an Army Commander. yeah. we would shiver and immediately become stupid once he started talking to us. haha just read this. : As typical PURE geog students, lets in intro the population of the class… population of 40, with 2 foreign talents… one American, one Malaysian. 5 Malay students, 3 Tamil students and 30 Chinese students, and two that don’t take mother tongue…. Then of course there are the teachers… there is of course… BIG BOSS Mrs June Yeo, who is our beloved form teacher… she teaches English, literature, CME… “is it not??”…. Then there is Mr Philip Lee… aka (also known as) Mr Philip… (that is b’cuz he don’t wanna be called FAT LEE…. He told us on the first day of school… it’s not that we call him that…) well, he covers math… both A & E “work smart not hard…” … then there is the other Mr Lee… Mr Lee Kim Seng aka FIERCE LEE… he, teaches us science (physics)… “rest assured” he teaches well… for science (chemistry) there is Mdm Zhulaiha… “Zhen Loo it’s your turn to answer this question” then for social studies there is Mrs Leong Sui Fun… “can you get into groups??” let’s not forget our mother tongue teachers… Mr Zhou Li Xin (Chinese)… Mdm Zaiton (Malay)… Mr Subramanian (Tamil)… and if we are PURE geog students, how could we forget our geog teacher Miss Sarah Yew…? “ 4b… you all are such an encouragement…” plus mr norsham who teaches us PE...
- in jc, i got to know more people. especially during 1st 3 months. yeap.
im lazy. can i continue another time
