Did i mention that im using 6610 now, apparently since my camp has a no-no policy for camera phones(which was announced 1 hour after i received the hardcopy of my LOA). So yeap, i let my 7610 rest on weekdays. And after using 7610 for close to 11mths(gonna turn 1 year in Nov), i realise that the 7610 is 1000 more than 6610. What a truly remarkable observation!
Anyway. I used to use 6610(my previous phone), from early 2003 till Nov 2004. So it was about 2 years. And yeap, i have many memories in relation to the phone.
1st 3 months.. 03A05. yeap. imagine 5 CHIJ KC girls and 5 Chung Cheng High Sch ppl in one class, and when the total strength of the class is like only 20. Well. Im glad i still recall my 1st 3 month days. The entreprenuership prog - the rojak(which was suggested by me) was a failure. Haha. And literature lessons. Well gothic under ms khainu was fun. Coz all we did was discuss and watch gothic movies. and she took us for PC as well. and zhengying was damn good at it. haha. and Mr Reynolds took us for Shakespeare. And i nearly dieded attending his Antony And Cleopatra lessons coz he conducts his lesson discussion style, in a circle. And 99% of the time i have trouble trying to understand what he is trying to say coz of his thick slang.
Phy Geog was under Ms karen teo. She was the only serious teacher who was serious about teaching, even scolded us like crazy. And she was initially well-hated coz she was strict and firm, but she was alright afterall, i mean one of the better teachers i've seen.
Malay was interesting. Coz usually in St Hilda's, Malay classes, the size that is, is kept to a minimum, due to the popn size. But i remember during 1st 3 months, we had to have 2 separate classes just for the Arts Fac itself. I belong under Mdm Suhana's class and malay lessons were usually discussions.
And how everyone decided to skip school one day to go for the polytechnic open houses.
And Mr Soh! The temp GP teacher. Retiree guy. 2 big specs. And how, during the initial week we tried to escape from his lessons by acting unfamiliar and blur wrt the sch building. So we just walked around and purposely went to the wrong tutorial rooms. And the notes he used to give us, the font size were so minute you had to maximise the size of the words by using a magnifying glass.
now enough of lessons.
I remember our class used to plan on how to exit school so as to play badminton at the sports hall.
And how everyone decided to skip school one day to go for the polytechnic open houses.
And then we had the slack-outside-council-room, where i got to know the other malays from tkgs vs tkss etc.
And yeah just hanging out in the canteen. The drink stall use to serve drinks in paper cups. And yeah, usually either a soccer ball would end up on our table or the paper cups will fly all around.
And PE! Ultimate Conditioning. Well, 10rounds then was a torture. In comparison to now, its somesort of a minor challenge to me(not that im gd at running plus i mention that its a challenge afterall)
I remember running away from lessons lah.
And yeah!! using the excuse that "i wanna go poly" or "i wanna go tjc" so as to escape lessons.
band. nuff said.
i miss the kind of band life we used to have in early 2003.
-_-
well, everything is nothing but memories.
