Well. Finally some peace and concentration. It is 0030. My last day of medical leave. Gonna go back to 1 GSMB, ARC once again. Not hoping for anything. Just dreading the moment i step into the complex. Guess what. It has only been about 144 days since i enlisted. I still have like over 500 more days. Hee. And yeap, i'm not too sure of what's gonna happen. And it really sucks. Because they cant confirm when i am going overseas(coz yeah, i have not even passed my dental). Other than that, my colleagues are hoping that i will be able to stay till year-end. We even prepared charts which i called the "Manpower Staffing for NSMEN SECTION" chart and yeah, planned our leave and courses.
Anyway, about my wisdom tooth. I went to Alexandra Hospital for my appointment. While waiting for my turn, i overheard the patient services officer talking to some patients. Turns out most of them are actually NSF. There was about 5 of them enquiring about their wisdom tooth thingy back-to-back. And to no surprise, everybody was confused about the payment part. Like what is covered and what is not. Well, its true that SAF will borne the cost of the surgery and subsequent consultations, but yeah they didnt know that they can claim up to 50% of their dental 1st consulation plus xray up to a maximum of 70bucks per annum. Well, pardon for the lack of bad sentence structure. I am so used to writing in bad engrish. whee. and anyway, i am like an expert at the PERSONAL CLAIMS SYSTEM(PCS). Yeah. And theres a window to claim for food as well. Like watashiet?
The doctor said my teeth's all right. yeah. She removed the stitches. All the black thread out of my mouth! The funny thing was that she gave me this thick syringe thingy with a super thick needle which is actually meant to wash the gum area lah. I am so dumb. I had to consult two nursing student-friends over the telephone on how to fill up the syringe up with water.(since i have no friends in medicine. Hee)
I really wonder if im gonna spend the rest of my army life talking about army. like seriously. HELP!
