well. woke up early to read the newspaper(yeah right) and yeah just some interesting issues in today's paper.
1) Sunday Times interviewed the girl who reported to the police wrt the "blogger" who came up with the racists remarks. It sounded quite lame, because apparently the girl herself is malay. And that brings a slap to the Malay Community itself. Because now the whole world knows we are supposedly "stupid" and "slow"!
And isn't it retarded. Cause its not even a blog in the first place. In fact, its an online forum can.
And imagine calling 999 to report someone wrote a racist comment and ta-da it went up all the way to the ministrial level. like totally well done lah.
My initial thought was that there was this secret government agency who did all those investigation! Haha.
Wah, Like that the MO who was hurling insults at me can also go to jail lah? (OOPPPPSS)
Whatever it is, racist comments are still widespread and rampant lah.
2) The gen y page which usually features issues revolving around the teenagers had an article about party organisers. It clearly is an inaccurate portrayal as it misleads our teens into thinking that organising parties is a good way to make lots of money. What the article lacked was the fact that there are some organisers who actually LOSE money or end up paying much more to the club for damages etc. So it was sort of biased and one-sided.
3) It is well known that car prices are damn low right now, since prolly a decade ago. I have seen crowds flocking into the showroom, esp the non-luxurious brands such as toyota, nissan and mitsubishi(coz ppl who can afford to get bmws and mercs and jaguars can get them anytime and hyundai or kia is already so fickung cheap). Well, what is the point of cheap cars when the maintenance costs is even much more expensive than before? Rightt...
Alright. Wow, i am actually aware of current affairs. Rather impressive for someone who has only been talking about army and army and army and going out.
And anyway, Patrick's on course tmr and tues. Hui Pheng is on o/s leave, wont be back till fri. So well done, i gotta cover them. like soo gonna die. Friday covered h/p already was so busy doing the medical and RT/IPPT stuff and ten year medals and chasing people for injury report and checking AWOL stuff and one-list-hp asked me to do.
Anyway, time to go shopping!!! :) i mean. now as in NOT NOW
