thinking back, i did something realllyy silly today.
I went to a saloon which i used to go to a few years back today. Im rather sick and tired of any-how-cut hair cut-ted by the pay-the-machine-ten-dollars-in-exchange-for-a-card-which-u-manually-hand-over-to-the
-hairstylist-which-is-so-lame-coz-i-thought-we-wld-have-to-use-it-like-phonecard/ezlink
aunties and ahbengs(no offence coz its true.. most of the times), coz it only looks decent and neat for about 1 week afterthat it will end up unkempt like the condition of my hair now. SO back to my story. i went into the quite-empty shop. marched straight up the counter. actually the counter was right in front of the door. I said.
"Hi. I wld like to make an appointment"
the guy said. "when? and what time?"
"monday evening, 7pm"
then he said. "with whom? which stylist?"
then i replied. "hmm ahh. Anyone???"
then he asked "just a cut?"
then i said "yah"
and i left my contact number behind and walk off. MUAHAHA. so lame right?
at least i have forced myself to cut my hair there, hope it doesnt turn out to be a
disaster too!

actually im super screwed. coz i dunno how to tell the stylist what kind of hair style i want! and pointing at pics wldnt help coz almost all the photos in those kind of catalogues are of medium-short range of hair! Which i cant afford to keep in order to keep myself clean and away from the power of the mighty ones(in army, everyone else seems to be higher ranking but not as mighty as me. HAHAHAHA. action~)

this week been fast. i cleared 01x day off on friday. when it was the eat with your family day supposedly in conjunction with MCYS family week celebrations(i did the bn routine order so i know all htis crap). I wonder.. is it meant to clash witht he starting of the GSS?

Talking abt GSS. Im saving up ALLL my money for the next GSS. Lol. I think its better to have more reserves in the bank account and spend on stuff that you are going to chuck away once the novelty is gone.

Maybe i shld go for another holiday.
Anyway, since wow. aisyah reads my blog(and i read yours too).
The under-mentioned are some more tips.

Bkk is notorious for its traffic jams. But despite all the vehicular congestion, you will be kind of shocked to find out that accidents rarely occur. The air isnt as fresh as those air you breathe when you take a stroll down Tampines' SunPlaza Park. The water isnt as clean as those you get from the tap in your HDB toilet(sound so unglam but who cares).

And oh. you should go to Boots. Its actually a watson's kind of thing. but then its got more in-house stuff. Like creams and all. Can get some apricot and peach cream for my mom? Get several. Lol. Coz my mom likes it so much. i only bought one big tube for her 2 mths back and now its like totally gone! Will tell you the exact name soon.

Then suggest that you plan your expenditure. spread your daily budget out. SO that you will avoid frequent trips to the money changers and atm. And oh. they've got tons of UOB in Bkk. Yes. And once you change to baht, you will feel like a rich guy(girl in your case).

The food in Bkk is cheap. But the px of clothes and stuff has risen tremendously due to the influx of tourists from economically more developed countries(like the republic of singapore). And oh. You might hear of Pratunam area. You might want to give it a miss coz its not yr kind of thing.

Just rememebr to go to Chatuchak. IF you are staying over the weekend(or several weekends), remember to go there on each day of the weekend.

And oh, Bkk is one hour slower than Singapore. But then when its abt 6pm there, its already quite dark. And when its 6am there, its already quite bright.

And oh yeah. if you want to change your money in sg. the money changers who give the best rates are in chinatown and larkeyyy plasar..
