Wow! What a sunday.
Had a couple of appointments today, since im not doing the-thing-that-i-usually-do on weekends.
ORIGINAL PLAN was to meet Syahiid and Ronald for lunch, and then to visit Jacinth at Taka and then to look for DyS1 whom i shall address him by his name, GOH JIALE since he is already a civilian, and then to meet Dor and Company for dinner.
But THANKS TO THE WET WEATHER, i ended up sleeping at home. And when i woke up, it was almost time to meet Dor and Company. Found out that they didnt meet up for lunch because they had originally expected some kind of confirmation from me. And then obviously there wasnt time to visit my GOOD friend, Jacinth. And so on my way to the MRT, Jiale called and reminded me of my appt. I rushed down to Clarke Quay. I was aware that it is some network company so was quite prepared for it. Jiale gave me an intro of the company's profile and its high achieving managers. Frankly, was not really impressed because it is giving the wrong signal; that if you work hard enough and follow this proven system, you will make big money. I think it is nonsense. But on the other hand, i just wanted to find out more. You wouldn't know if you don't see it yourself. While he was explaining, Pwee called me saying that they were all waiting for me. So i had to leave. And i walked all the way from Clarke Quay to Suntec City, in like 10 to 15 minutes. Lol. Actually was running halfway. The route was not at all unfamiliar, I remember walking from the Singtel Building at Pickering Street to Raffles City once last year, after a weekend shift.
So all of us are interested to make more money, so that we can save more and at the same time, spend more. Though im no longer that excited when i go on outings and gatherings as i used to be, it is still quite fun to have the desire of owning the materialistic items you see.
Another week to endure. Another busy work that is. Just need to minimize my expenditure on weekdays and all will probably be fine.
