Was feeling kind of down this morning because of the overpayment case for e previous ICT. S1 was making quite a lot of noise when he saw me in orderly room. Managed to explain that its part of a spillover effect. We were informed by the CSM late; one case after e MC duration was over and the other after we outprocessed the guy. Got to do with the ex-gratia/compassionate payment. Coz we were nt able to use the "deferred. 1st mc" function for exceptional case, e system cld not auto-calculate e payment which was to include e MC days as well. Managed to explain to him and the NPC lady. Who was kind of nice actually coz i pointed out her mistake and she was like apologising and all. Hmm. Shall definitely exercise more care and prudence in future.

While teaching david, huipheng intercept my call and it was a call from CMEO PA. She said that her boss(who is everyone's boss) was kinda impressed with the deferment appeal covering letter i wrote. She said that he said that "All write-ups shld be like that". Ha. Really made my day. Not that im desperate for recognition, but that at least i know that someone out there appreciate my work.(and btw, they dont know who i am coz the letter was signed by S1 anyway but they definitely know that its the work of an NSF)
Really feel satisfied but its also because of S1's guidance. I learnt his kind of style of writing through previous experience and as such applied what he taught. Basically apart from the grammar and language, every point shld be supported with evidence. And everything shld flow(not like my blog).

Working in Ns Section really gives me the satisfaction derived from knowing and doing so much. We might be small based on rank and appointment but as long as we take pride in our work, we will gain the satisfaction.
