It was damn funny because i was damn thick-skinned to have asked S1 about my promotion. What was even funnier was that i was going round and round; i didnt directly talk about my OWN promotion so when he finally sensed what i meant, he went "basket.. u talking about your own promotion isit?" Then he said. "i promoted u already what..." I said. Yeah effective from 16/08. Then i was trying to say that i was raised e issue up coz there were coy line ppl who enlisted 3 mths after me but their date for promotion is 01/08. Which obviously i felt was not fair. Coz naturally i felt that i contributed enough so its not justifiable if someone who enlist 3 mths after me to be promoted before me. LOL. And shaun thought likewise too. Right Shaun Tio Pei Xiong? i mean CPL Auntie Shaunda. And he called Gabby immediately. I was like.. "WOW"ed by his actions coz i didnt expect him to go all the way. He even asked Gabby if can backdate my promotion to 01/08. Thing about boss is must raise issues up directly with him, then he will try to fight for u. LOL. But i quote his word.. "if the guy is due for promotion, we give him lah.."
And. I stayed to do OT again yesterday. Well. So much work to do nowadays. Having 2 PAs definitely doesnt help coz my 2 PAs are like 2 bosses instead - gotta check the stuff they do and in the end i do everything. :) but hoping things will improve.
Supposed to go out for tim's farewell last night but then it was cancelled. Anyway gonna send him off on monday i guess!
Oh parade on tues. ARGHH!! AGAIN.. lol. shld not have asked shaun to change my duty to thurs. ARGH!!
