Today's only Monday. Far Far away from Friday. I need e weekends again!
Woke up at 420. Left my hse at 0500. Reached camp at 0520. Thought i cld sleep in e cab but the uncle was more interested in talking abt politics. LOL. Was not really a good start. The commercial bus we indent was late; so we loaded our stuff to chief clerk's car and then by the time everything was done, it was about 0615. Happened that HuiPheng wanted to take a cab coz e bus was late; but it turned up at the guardhouse afterall. Dont know what happened the bus reached 1st. When all the stores were in chief clerk's car somewhere ard holland v. And then when we reached ALTI, the MPH was locked. Kept calling their Ops Room. Finally this guy (and oh sorry for this interruption. just got this call from this lady with a nice voice(but through exp, ladies with nice voices are usually more scary looking) who wanted to do a survey on petrol stations. And OH WOW. she said that she understand that i drive, then she asked whats my age. then i said. 20. then she said. OH SO YOUNG AH? but i finished my under 28 part already.. <--?? and oh anyway i shld have just told her that although i have been a qualified driver for 11 mths already, i ve nvr filled up my tank before)) And their infra guy finally appeared and kept insisting that we wanted the MPH to be open only at 0715-0730. NONSENSE..
When we were done w the setting up, and the NSmen were all eager to inprocess, the institute's RSM came giving us instructions to "not inprocess those with long hair". HUH? isn't it subjective? but the best part is that.. "dont let the OC check because they will let them go..." First of all, we are so busy sorting out the admin and manpower issues, sometimes we dont even take a good look at the person inprocessing. Coz they come in flocks and masses. Where got time?
And then there was this young PC who requested "a clerk to be attached" to him "to do photocopying" HUH?? Its either that he is too smart to use the photocopier or... too stupid.....
