What's the difference?

I am now at home, glued to my chair, facing the computer. Wouldn't I be doing the same thing if i'm in camp too? Just that at this timing, i will be making my way back to office from lunch!

Made some plans to go out today but the hot-hot weather is making me think twice. However, if i dont go out, i will wake up tmr and then i will tell myself that i have wasted a day of leave! HA! But then if i go out, i will end up spending a lot of money. Whatever it is, i shall go take a one hour nap(like i usually do around this time).

But it's good to stay at home once in a while. Because it is not so good to always not stay at home. Well. Figure that out...

Comp at work spoilt since thurs. The HP guys came down to replace the motherboard but then the appropriate personnel havent release the portlock so yeah, im computer-less. Rushed some stuff for S1 for the MR ceremony and basically thats all. (Although i caused some kind of minor confusion within the OCs and CMEO(and probably CO) because of my invitation email yesterday but yeah its smtg that the bosses will have to sort within themselvescoz im just doing my job).

Enough about work. Finally able to use my phone again. Bought a plastic casing for it. haha. obsessed with the phone. But give me 1 more mth and i will want to buy a new toy.

Leave approved on Monday. No idea what im going to do yet. But then i wont waste it, coz Leave is precious. Ok. more precious than off~

yawn. gonna go visiting i guess

Just a little update. Oh no. Starting to be busy again. Today was Lo's Official Last day in AMB. Kinda sad. Keep seeing people going off. When is my turn? And since David is in hospital, left Hui Pheng and Me running the section. So GOOD LUCK. Im gonna clear my 15.5 days of offs and leaves by e end of dec. Planned already. abt 5 days in Nov, and 8 days in Dec. 2.5 days next week. haha.

busy though. MR Ceremony to plan entirely on my own since Ms Chua is rather busy, Mob prep to monitor, ICT Admin, Handing Taking over prep etc. OH NO!!

All my peers are counting down down down, while i can only afford to count up. In case you still cannot figure out what i mean, im talking about counting days left to ORD. I should not even bother about counting actually. But anyway, to make you guys who are gonna ORD feel better, i have 6 months more. As if you people dont feel good enough already~ On the same topic of counting, i have been counting money(as usual). Estimating that i gotta spend 500 bucks on a new hp coz my 7610, which has faithfully been with me for close to 23 months died a sudden death. No autopsy was done but the preliminary diagnosis is that the internal CPU parts experienced some kind of fatal failure.

Thoughts really crosses my mind randomly. Like into my mind and out of it immediately.

Oh. Some interesting points:-
1. You got to have at the very least a strand of white(or maybe grey) in order to occupy an MRT seat without any guilt.
2. Youths usually stand. (unless you consider 40 yr olds as young people as well. but they are indeed YOUNGER relative to the not-so-young).
3. I look forward to peeing at Buona Vista MRT each morning because i hold my pee all the way from Tampines(because i drink 6 glasses of water for my morning meal during this fasting month)
4. The toilet at Tampines MRT smells like everybody pee-d on the floor simultaneously and it was left to dry overnight.
5. 3 dogs went around my office sniffing for ?drugs this morning.
6. The more money you have, the more you desire.
7. When using my personal PC at home, i keep trying to save my stuff on the D Drive(when its actually a CD drive) as im so used to saving my stuff on D Drive in camp.
8. When making external calls from my Home Phone, i tend to press 9 first.
9. Yesterday when i was referring to the Nominal Roll to get somebody's number, i used the ctrl + F function(as i usually do), after getting the number, i picked up the handset of the telephone and started dialing the phone number on the computer's keyboard.
10. Novelty of Pay Day. If only i get to experience that kind of joy everyday~

Opportunity Costs of SERVING
1. You have to catch up with your female peers by 2 years(Or they can slow down by 2 years) OR we can all make the arrangement of asking the ladies to slow down by 1 year and we will hurry up by 1 year as well. Alternatively, We can catch up by 4 years if they dont want to slow down and want to go even faster by 2 years.
2. The garment can spend the money HOR on more things lor. But then hor, the garment save money HOR because HOR they pay us(no no. ME) very little lor. that means HOR. its a WIN WIN situation LOR.
3. And then HOR means generate a lot of job for the economy LOR. because HOR gorttt sooo many companies HOR got contract MAH. TIO BO?
4. Opportunity Cost ah? Cannot keep LONG HAIR lor. Cannnot buy HAIR DYE also. Like that LOR-REE-ER ROSE MARLEY LOR. HANNOR? Hairlesser and barberr oso lor.
5. Callot bling in hai tech hang fong, am pee thlee, rap top, aiyah. anything erect-tronic oso callot lor.

After spending the entire morning to bring to reality an nsman who has all along been in obvilion, i had to entertain another call of some high-ranking-employee-outside who insisted on getting his deferment approved. What a sad life. It is even more saddening to see the apparent trend that adults simply love to pick on the points that most of the time makes no sense or does not matter at all!

On another note, can foresee lots of appointments; going-out appointments that is. More importantly, pay coming in tonight! Yeay!

I told myself that i had to blog about this today. After attempting to make several concurrent appointments with some friends to go out on a saturday afternoon, only managed to meet up with andrew and hew wing. typical situation. when im busy, everyone keep asking me to go out. when im free, theres nobody who can go out. but anyway, as i was saying, i went to andrew's place at flora road first. then we decided on going to parkway parade(coz apparently they went to see cars at the showroom the entire morning; ate alot too). And guess what. Parked at Hew Wing's Aunt condo next door(who apparently rented out the place to somebody). Lol. Not that we are trespassing(maybe indirectly), but it was quite embarrassing to walk out by passing by the guard post when a few minutes earlier we drove in. HAHA. so dinner was at fish and co. and yeah. it was alright. Short outing. Wanted to meet bharat and qb but we were all too tired. And so here i am, at home...

I have this (secret) habit of flipping through recruit section of the straits times every saturday and i will actually glance through all the adverts just to see my options. Have not even started uni but then kind of worrying about job opportunities. haha (at most become teacher lor)

Hi, Im back. Been blogging quite irregularly now because there is nothing much to blog about.

I went to DTT B today to collect some dockets. I lias quite alot of NSPC people but when i entered the place, it was so foreign and scary. It was so quiet and the atmosphere was just so tense.

Oh yeah, the reason i managed to go to DTT B is because im able to use the car for yesterday, today and tomorrow. Afterall, its only a 10 minute drive from ayer rajah. Initially wanted to meet huipheng there and then go back together but thank goodness i didnt wait. She reached office at only 2pm.

Each time i go to CMPB/Depot Road Camp, i will always wonder what will it be like to be an NSF there. Whatever it is, i am still appreciating my familiarity in Ayer Rajah Camp. 6 more months and i wont be able to lead a sleep work sleep work lifestyle anymore.

On the topic of work, been ok. Been clearing alot of backdated shiet like missing dockets and dockets-that-we-are-supposed-to-have-handed-over and clearing temp pes, injury reports and medical FFI. And then managed to email the NEW MO regarding the reservist MO forecast. Seems to be sooo much better than the PREVIOUS ONE.

Cant wait for pay next week. Time to go shopping!

Cant wait for hari raya. Coz after hari raya im gonna start a SECRET programme..

if only theres no need to do any work in camp, but time still flies so very quickly
if only they pay me 4.2K to do the kind of work i do now instead of 0.42k per month.

if only theres no need to work so hard for the bosses
if only im the boss.

then i will start a whole new cycles of if onlies... haha
