I took a photo of the map from streetdirectory.com using my HP as I am not very familiar with Chinatown Area.

Yesterday was GSMB(now AMB) 29th Anniversary. So as usual, we had a day event(which was games at SAFRA YISHUN which I skipped as I asked permission from Boss to stay in Office to finish work since I was on duty the night before) as well as a night event. This time round, the night event was held at Red Star Restaurant somewhere near Subordinate Court.

Well. So far.. The dinners organised by the Unit throughout my 18mths plus in GSMB..
JUNE 2005(Just Posted in) - Minister of Defence Award Dinner at Bliss Garden Restaurant at Expo.
SEP 2005 - CO's EVENING at Home Team Club at Bukit Batok.
JAN 2006 - 28th Unit Anniversary Night Event at Orchid Country Club(didnt attend this one as was on duty)
JUNE 2006 - Commendation Dinner(for all the awards) at Roland Restaurant at Marine Parade.
SEP 2006 0 CO's EVENING at Civil Service Club at Bukit Batok
JAN 2006 - 29th Unit Annivesary Night Event at Red Star Restaurant.

The Crowd.. Packed like Sardines.. There were close to 80 tables.. Many Many People.. Happens everytime..

Although we were at the extreme left side, it was the middle part of the restaurant(which means that there were many more ppl behind us?) EH I DONT KNOW WHAT IM TALKING?

*shakes head* (can imagine someone doing this..)

Maia Lee... And they managed to get some superstar guy and baobei sisters? Not bad, but crowd was not very encouraging. (plus actually i rather use the money to serve better food.. :x shh. kidding lah.. need some entertainment..)

And guess what.. I ended up at St James with the rest of the branch plus Emily. GOSH. And...

This is Clev, the Big Boss PA. And in the background are: The Big Boss and wife, plus all other Bosses. It's a LONNGG story.. The initial plan was to meet up with Kenny to chill somewhere. But then happened that Emily wanted to see St James. So all of us headed there. And one of the senior specs somehow got some connection and got like the 30 of us in? HAHA. I felt out of place though.. Ha. Seriously..
I think there were enough participants(in number and in rank) to hold a CO conference lor..

Emily has long left for MES S1 Br... When Shaun and me were fresh and new out of BMT in the earlier photograph, we are now waiting to ORD... =)

Guess its the last dinner with the unit. I sat with Clev, Shaun, and the rest of the DXOs like Ms Chua, Mdm Norsiah, Ms lee, Ms Lim.. annnddd MDM SEETOH. She even offered to come back and help if we got mobilisation next week.
