I had the most riddyculous dream ever!

I was in Jay Gee Melwani building. It didn't look like Jay Gee Melwani building from the outside but in the inside, the lobby was empty and there was only 1 lift(like the real one). I took it to the 12th floor(in reality, i don't think there's a 12 floor) because I wanted to re-take my Qualifying English Test because I screwed it up. But as soon as I reached, they finished one session and was abt to start the next. So I saw a lot of friends. And then they told me the paper was abt Harry Potter. Then as I walked into the exam hall, this flyer-distributor gave me the new exam paper. So I took it. Flipped it open and was trying to compare if it is tougher than the one i sat for. For the AQ/essay question, we were to compare Ron & Hermione's characters. And then come up with some character analysis. Then I was supposed to look for some professor(I think mc gonagall but was told by mr sahlan that she is in albania) so that I can get the all-clear to get the test. And then i WOKE UP lah.

Alright! After 5 months of Aignerizing(Mar, Apr, May, Jun, Jul), today was my last day at work! Aigner has been the toughest place to work at. I think the stocks nearly drove me crazy. As I was previously from Coccinelle, I had to learn new things like
- measuring the correct length to be altered(for pants/skirts/sleeves etc)
- the correct way of wearing belts (if u are wearing pants size 32, e most suitable size wld be belt size 34 where there wld be 2 holes on the left and right of the buckle). And cutting belts.
- learning how to punch holes on watchstraps or belts.
- there are so many different sizing charts. like UK vs US vs French vs German vs Japanese vs....
- folding shirts properly(neatly)
- blahblah

But most importantly, I think it has really helped me in improving my communication skills.

Seriously though, I really wonder how i could survive 5 months of look-easy-but-actually-quite-torturing-work. To be able to stand for a stretch of 8 hours. And gosh. Let me repeat. The stocks were just crazy. For bags there are ladies and mens bags. And then there are big vs small or fabric vs leather or calf leather vs elk leather etc etc etc.
For fashion there's ladies fashion and men's fashion. For ladies fashion there's jeans vs pants or silk blouse vs cotton blouse or this tshirt vs that tshirt or this dress vs that dress. BLAHBLAHBLAH. This season vs that season. THIS season's price vs THAT season's price. Oh Gosh.
PLUS
counting stock manually. One by one. Over 2000 over pieces at the end of each day.

There might be ppl who think that the a/m is just insignificant work. But I think I feel blessed to be able to be working at such a place lah.

Also learnt a lot abt brands and fashion.

Unlike the previous times when i left(like end feb than came back in mar then left again came back in apr and then continued in dec and then in july the following year), I dont feel sad because I am quite sure I will go back and work again lah. As I always say, it's not about the money, but more for the passion and the environment.

But I think it feels a bit like my ORD-day, or my last day in sch(pri sch/sec sch/jc).

I didn't know that there's soo many forms to fill up just for the registration this Monday. And oh. QET results are going to be out on Wed i think. Silly me just realised that i spelt ALLEVIATE as ELEVEATE. Oh my goodness. Such a stupid mistake lah.

I haven't been doing anything much these few days, in a bid to save money - or rather, in a bid not to spend money. Still pretty undecided over THAT wallet.

I went to Sentosa with Shaun a couple of days back. Quite surprised with the development. It really looks like a (fake) island's-paradise. Nevertheless, am amazed with its fabricated beauty. Quite sad not to see the landmark ferry terminal and musical fountain,which have been demolished to make way for the IR. Like really old-school memories. But seriously, Sentosa looks like a Disneyland without disney characters. My friends told me it's even better at night.

I haven't been exercising at all. And I am skinnier than ever. I want to be fat.

There's nothing much to blog about. Probably when school starts, I have more things(and gossip) to talk abt.

I think I will miss the Aigner staff. All the nonsense. Esp with Jess ard. And elfi's damn funny too. Like how he described seeing this preg lady's who's erm. milk. oh well. shh.. not very nice to say lah.

And I wanna shop.

I went for the QET this morning. Such a lonnngg story. I woke up at 0645. Left my house at 0730. Managed to catch the 0745 east bound train to Pasir Ris first(so that I could sit down) and finally reached Buona Vista at 0830. Went to the toilet and then met Shaun Tio(the army one) and then we walked to the bus stop with the intention to catch the bus so that we can be early(just in case we were held up). The test was to commence at 0930. So the 1st 95 arrived at 0850. We couldn't get onboard because there were toooo manyy QETters. And then the next one came at 0915. I was already panicking because we were going to be late!! There were no cab in sight, as since it was a rainy morning, the cab booking network was jammed. Luckily, we managed to reach there just in time. The invigilator started the paper the moment i rest my butt on the chair. I was still trying to calm down as I am the early bird kind. Gosh. What a baddddd baddd topic.. LEGALIZING ORGAN TRANSPLANT. I mean, I don't think I screwed it up as bad as my GP during A level's but then again, I think I might have included some redundant points(or rather points which seem redundant because I had no idea/time/idea/time/idea/time on how to phrase it nicely so that it would sit nicely taking into account the question's context) I was just ranting on and on and on and oh. The MCQ and Grammar, though they appear to be simple, are actually quite tricky. But anyway, its over. Jac said they are interested to see if we can write/crap so I guess i gave them pages full of crap so it shld be alright. Otherwise, I mean, there's nothing to be done but to attend lessons faithfully lor. School is going to start. The girls all look sooo young. Whereas all the guys look so old(maybe coz of army. Oh Admit it.. we are all 21)....

And I had to hold my pee for the longest time ever because
1) it was a rainy morning
2) the aircon was so cold
3) i tend to pee a lot in the mornings
But we were held back because the testpapers collected didnt tally with the number of attendees.

I cut my hair yesterday at Shunji Matsuo. Better than expected. Well Done! Worth the money.

Hak korkor is leaving for Australia tonight. Got one less friend to go out with. Yesterday we had lunch at Carousel at Royal Plaza on Scotts. He said he coming back in Nov for break. So got to wait until then! Was at his house yesterday as he was busy trying to pack/packing(delete where applicable).

Each time its after my off day, I feel quite reluctant to go back to work because I feel that I am treated like shiet just because I am supposedly the most junior in position. (But I have been with them since 2004 and that there are staff who joined as recent as 2nd half of last yr). Just because I am powerless. I wanna leave but I cant. Coz Jessica and Kelly still there. They are the people who brought me into the brand(s). I think I shld just hold on to like 10 more working days, at least I am guaranteed 500 bucks. And since sch is starting, think i need to put the money aside.. as my expenditure is quite unpredictable.

I hope that when my savings plan mature next June, I will be able to fly to Aust to visit Hak. And then fly back to Spore for his break. Meanwhile, I shld save for the Shopping Trip to HK this dec. Cant wait. Maybe I shld get the bottega wallet end of this yr.

Sch starting soon. Quite excited, but not very. And people keep on saying im in the wrong course because i refuse to go for any camps or to stay in the hostel. YAWN.
