I think blogging can be a waste of time. That's why I don't bother checking what I typed before I publish the post. Of course, it has its consequences. Like reading your own entries later on to discover that you don't understand what you are typing.

Ever since I was in JC, I observed that channel 8 drama serials like to feature their teenage actors and actresses in two types of uniforms. One is the white top and navy blue bottom (think acjc) and the other is the lime green outfit (think tpjc). Haha. REALLY! But anyway, channel 5 prefer the former, it seems. Haha.
Why is HP battery so lousy? Oh yes. SO MUCH TO DO!

One day, I was feeling really hungry. So I bought a lot of food and gobbled down everything. But then after eating so much, I felt bloated. It felt worst instead.
(It's a true story. I told Hazariah I'm feeling like a pig. Really piqued right now.)
Anyway. It's not any way. It's no way.

I am always very happy to know that Monday is over. Because I clever-ly squeezed in two lectures back-to-back so I have to sit in LT11 for 4 hours. And starting the week with Economics is.. hmm. not very good. But I guess it's ok. I'm those kind who rather "suffer" first then enjoy later.

I am suddenly reminded of those days when I was working with Huipheng. She used to tell me about how evil some people can be. So I just listened to all her stories. She explained it in such a way that it was fun and entertaining to listen to.
But when you are stuck with such people in life, you begin to wonder what evil things did you do to deserve such a situation.
Yes. I am up bright and early this morning because I slept at 2100++ last night as I was too tired after spending the entire day outside.
There's so much work to do. But I'm not going to complain about it though because nobody is going to empathise with me anyway. HAHA

Some people are just plain annoying.
They just want to win in everything. But the worst thing is that they try so hard to pull those around them down. His success = everybody else's failure. I think I mentioned this in my blog before and yeah, lots of my friends agree on this point esp since we know of a good real life example.
No point thinking so much about this kind of things, so here are some pictures!
I always think that AS7 looks like TPJC, maybe because of the rectangular panels. But obviously, this is a bad photograph of AS7 because of the pillar and the trees. One more thing. TPJC and NUS shares a similar concept of "undulating terrain". Eg. In TPJC, the Hall was located one level below the 1st floor and it was still referred to as 1st floor? (or basement?). In FASS the 3rd floor of AS4 is the 1st floor of AS3. Enough said.

As I was walking back from the toilet, I realised that my CNM project group mates were similarly attired. So I forced them to take a photograph at the end of the project and HEY! They enjoyed it so much that they decided to wear green the next day. I think it's amusing lah. Because all of them were wearing black tshirts and blue jeans. How often do we come across such things?
I took the photograph because I was the odd one out. I was wearing black but I changed out of it.
Venue for CEO Unplugged. It's an auditorium in need of renovation works. Even the LTs are better furnished. We had two CEOs coming down yesterday. Adam Khoo and Ivan Lee(boss of thai express, new york new york etc). I have been to a seminar by the former before so I wasn't really expecting much. Just that he is an entertaining speaker I think.
Listening to Ivan Lee. He just ended one "session" over at the other side and naturally started another.
HP Ink is so expensive that I have to resort to buying fake ink..

When I was a little kid, I used to look forward to Hari Raya because:
1) end of fasting
2) collection money
3) go out go out go out
However, the enthusiasm has been fading over the years.
On another note...
Like any other festivals, music is instrumental in creating a joyous atmosphere. Unlike what is normally portrayed by the mass media, Aidilfitri is usually spiritually enlightening for most adults. Contrary to popular belief, it can quite sombre at times.
1) For the pious ones, they are sad that Fasting month has come to an end because Ramadhan is a spiritual month.
2) For the non-pious ones, it's a time for reflection.
3) For the non-pious and pious ones, it's a good time for family bonding.
4) For individual families, it's one of the rarest opportunities where everyone in the family can get together, and they seek forgiveness from each other.
5) For those working/studying overseas, they realize the importance of families. I realise that most Hari Raya songs revolve around the theme of being away from their families. Perhaps this is because traditionally, some of the urban popn are unable to return to their kampungs or villages. However, in Singapore's context where most of us don't have kampungs to return to, it applies to those who are studying/working overseas.
6) And then you think of loved ones who have passed on, and you remember Hari Raya and all other significant moments spent with them. And then you tell yourself that you should cherish everyone around you.
Whatever it is, I look forward to Hari Raya because it's the only time I spend some quality time with the family.

Tired.
Something funny happened to Pluto during Japanese Studies tutorial this morning. We were all happily discussing about his Water Bottle which was made of glass. We asked him if it will break and he said that it wouldn't (he tried before).
And so the lesson went on.
Then he volunteered to write something on the board. The moment he stood up, the Water Bottle rolled off the chair and it started to CLING CLANG CLING CLANG on the floor. Hilarious.
I like the 6th level of the library. By the windows. Nice View. Emo spot <-- according to haza.

School is tiring. Didn't had the time to blog till today. Alright I am exaggerating...
Two tests over. One more to go.
South Asia was alright. Did questions on Bangladesh, Urban Population Growth and Working Children. Thank goodness I chose those questions that didn't require me to "critically analyse" stuff. So it was alright. But then again, it takes a lot of effort to understand the politics of 5(or rather, 7) countries and their economic structure/development/social inequality.
Econs was bad. Obviously the lecturer was out to kill us. =(
Although she had warned that the questions will be challenging. Mingjie also said that she sets challenging questions.
OK I SHLDNT TALK ABOUT THIS.
I bought new shoes!
